The property was just lovely, we really enjoyed all aspects of it. The night sounds were amazing to fall asleep to and the gentle rain in the mornings was also enjoyed. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of our host, Doug, as he was very pleasant and helpful. The property has been well thought out and all of our needs were met or exceeded.

- the whole place was so clean !!! - access to laundry room with soap - the mattress was unbelievably soft and comfortable - the portable a/c in the room was really effective - easy walk to Maku’u point for sunrise - far away enough from Hilo to see stars and be in nature, but still easy enough access to the city and Hawaii Volcanoes

We absolutely loved our stay in the Eco Cabin! It’s completely off grid and still super cute, cozy, and comfortable with everything we needed. This was the perfect spot to stay while exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend staying here!

The location was great, it’s close to the centre but you’re far away that you can also enjoy the silence of the sea. I also LOVED the fact you can see sunrise from the dining room 😍😍 and everyone working there are really friendly and helpful!
