CanadaThe ramp to our second-floor room was a surprise, but so much better than stairs! We were also surprised to be directed from the main lobby to another building, but it was quiet and farther from the road, so actually a very good location.

United StatesWe were really surprised by the size of the room. It was perfect for a family of four. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully located. The coffee situation was great and we enjoyed the sunset out on the swing one of the nights.

Munising is a beuatiful quaint town.
Munising is a beuatiful quaint town. Everywhere i visitied the people are all very gracious and friendly. Bar Trap In restauarant, Pictured Rocks Cruises Tour, Gift Shops, Dogpatch Restaurant. All great!!

I would of stayed only 2 or 3 nights in Munusing & then...
I would of stayed only 2 or 3 nights in Munusing & then split the rest at different locations closer to Porcupine St Park & maybe in Marquette.
Favorite spots in Munising: Pictured Rocks Cruise & Glass Botyom Shipwreck Tour & Au Sable Light Station. Favorite spots in Marquette: Marquette Maritime Museum & Lighthouse, Sugarloaf Mountain Overlook is a must see but lots of steps!, Superior Wood Dome, Oregon Dock north harbor. Favorite spot in Porcupine State Park - A must see: Lake of the Clouds trailhead with scenic overlook then hike the 3 falls at Presque Isle.

I was just passing through on my way to a family function.
I was just passing through on my way to a family function. I would go back to see more of Munising. It's on Lake Superior. I'd like to go to Pictured Rocks someday. Downtown is walkable with a variety of retail shops and restaurants

Have done Pictures Rock Cruise before, so was disappointed...
Have done Pictures Rock Cruise before, so was disappointed this time. Too many kayaks on lake so could not get closer to the rocks.
Traffic was not at all. The falls were amazing, however a hike. We really enjoyed Ghost Town!! So happy they are keeping it up.

The Painted Rocks was well worth the trip.
The Painted Rocks was well worth the trip. Visiting other points of interest is well worth your time. A lot of beautiful . breathtaking waterfalls in the area. Except for the one that wanted to charge $12 per person. A natural wonder taken over by greed. OK, we have a gift shop and employees. No Ticky, no washy. KMA!
Except, Early E Byrd restaurant. Take a sausage and cut it in half and then declare it "two pieces". And not even apologize!! And charge me for two pieces! Shame on You!!!

Munising is a lovely little town located alongside beautiful...
Munising is a lovely little town located alongside beautiful Lake Superior and the famed Pictured Rocks. Our main purpose was to kayak and view the rocks from the lake. We also enjoyed dining at two great restaurants, Pictured Rocks Pizza and ByGeorge Brewing Co. across from one another and Eh! Burgers on the main drag. All were delicious with wonderful, friendly staff! Our stay was beautiful and so much fun!

The motel is a classic mid-century motel with plenty of parking. They even have a little area with a firepit and some chairs if you're trying to hang outside. It has a really cool, classic-looking neon motel sign too that's great for photos. The location is great as well, just a stone's throw from all that Munising has to offer and a short drive to Pictured Rocks for great hiking.

Great hotel and location for everything you need to do in Munising. Buffet breakfast was unexpected. Lovely muffins 😋 The restaurant Tracey’s attached was very popular and the food was great also good to have a drink
