The staff were exceptionally helpful throughout our holiday and the hotel is utterly unique. This establishment has character, a sense of history and place, and is in a wonderful location to explore New York. In some hotels you never feel truly welcome; this is not the case at the Hotel Chelsea. Thank you - we will return.

I arrived at the hotel at 11 AM after a 15-hour flight from Dubai, and was pleased to find my room ready for early check-in. The staff were excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and nearly equivalent to a 5-star experience. The only downside was the view, which was not particularly impressive. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a few days in New York City, and it truly lived up to the hype. The energy is unmatched – from the chaos of Times Square to the unexpected calm of Central Park. I visited iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, but also wandered through character-filled neighborhoods like SoHo,Little Italy, China Town... The food was a highlight – classic New York pizza, fresh bagels, and an incredible variety of international cuisine. Public transportation was surprisingly efficient, though it can be a bit overwhelming at first. In just a few days, New York managed to amaze us. It's a city that never sleeps and never stops surprising you. We’ll definitely be coming back.

    Too many tourists.

Too many tourists. New York, specifically Manhattan, has lost its soul and turned into a theme park. However, it has incredible places. It will always be special. The West Village, SoHo, the Blue Note Jazz bar are special.

The location is an excellent place very close to Times Square and also many subway stations. Travel to various places within Manhattan was really easy, fast and cheaper with the $33 7 Days Subway pass. The breakfast is kinda good and it is a repeat of the same items almost every day. As the hotel hosts around 500 rooms, the breakfast crowd is really big and you will need to hit the queue before 6:30 AM, else it can take long time.
