Hampton Inn Newark Airport, hotel in Newark

Hampton Inn Newark Airport Hotel offers complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service. It features a fitness center. Rooms feature stylish barn doors and modern bathrooms with free bath amenities.

Review: The hotel was nice and clean, with a spacious room, which was very pleasant. The location near the airport was also great, perfect for our trip. The shuttle service to the airport was free, which saved both time and money. The only downside was the breakfast – the selection was very limited, which wasn't ideal to start the day. Overall impression: The hotel offers comfortable accommodation near the airport with free transportation, but the breakfast could be improved.

"Best Home To Visit NYC-Subwaay Access" is not a hotel, but a cheater who deliberately uses the same street name as other Districit!! Then Provide a false address on purpose, and continue to ask for towels and other compensation from passengers who cannot find a correct address. No service provided, no address provided. And then deduct all the cost.

    I was billed three times.

I was billed three times. I'm still waiting for a refund and not sure how long it will take. My total charges for one night was $240 but Holiday Inn Newark charged my credit card three times with two $240 and another $303. Furthermore, in the middle of early morning around 3 AM someone opened our room door, and we woke up in shock and fear thinking thieves entered the room. The staff has no idea what they are doing and looked very confused. They sold our room to someone else when we were inside the hotel room at 3 AM on May 26th 2024.

If you work in or / commute to NJ or NYC - this gem of a boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Newark is a must consider - it has the amenties you need, super easy to commute into/out of, has shuttle service, a restaurant but is also right be military park so you are close to restaurants / stores - all safe and you cannot beat the price - the accommodations are far superior to other hotels in NYC when you factor in price alone. Always my go to location

Hotel is next to Newark Airport and offers free transfer from P4 from where you catch a free Air Train which takes you to Terminals and Train Station for Trains to NYC. Check in was quick. Hotel has a view of planes landing and you can see NYC in the distance. Room was big which was Great. Breakfast was rather poor not much of a choice. Coffee was weak, Juices were from Machine so not good quality..

The location was fabulous! Just across the road from Newark Penn Station, NJ. There is an overhead enclosed thoroughfare with a few shops along the way that takes you from the hotel directly to the station. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a generous size. The lifts worked very well, so good if you have mobility issues. The pizza we had at the cafe was the best we had on our 9-week trip!

Good value hotel. We stayed for 3 nights to visit NYC. The best and cheapest way to go there from the hotel is to take an Uber to Newark train station (10-20 dollar, 10 min) and then a train to New York train station (6 dollar) or PACT metro (3.50 dollar) to WTC (25 min). The airport train station is only accesible by the monorail and train tickets to NYC much more expensive.

Friendly staff. Near the Liberty Airport (which was key for us). They have a free airport shuttle, and they were even able to transport our two bicycles in bike boxes to the airport. The facility is new and has lots of security, a safe place to stay. We stayed here for a week while sightseeing in NY City. Our hotel room was plenty big for our two bicycles as well.

Good location from Newark airport - easy to get to with hotel shuttle (from P4) or using the train and a ten minute walk from Newark Penn station. Not the glitter of Manhatten, buite a few low-budget food spots around. Very friendly overall. Historic building.
