The highlight of my day was our ride on the Maid of the Mist! It was exhilarating and exciting as we went through the falls. Everyone began shouting and jumping up and down as the crew announced Welcome to Niagara Falls! Our hotel was in the downtown area but as we drove around the were some desolate areas with boarded abandoned homes. However, Niagara Falls State park made amends.

We live close, never stayed on the US side.
We live close, never stayed on the US side. It was an enjoyable experience and we will come back when the weather is nicer and more is open. We did not expect much but went specifically for a restful night and day together. Mission accomplished!

Honestly we aren't sure why everybody thinks you have to go to the Canadian side to enjoy niagara falls. The American side has FAR more distance of accesible coastline, and just as many tours and attractions. Being so close to the falls and hearing and feeling the power of the water is truly an awe inspiring experience. You can actually feel the ground vibrate with the sheer force of water flow. It's completely unique. Both sides are amazing, but don't shy away if you don't have a passport to get to Canada!!! We went at the beginning of the year, and it was very quiet and uncrowded. It felt so intimate to not have hundreds of people around you as you try to enjoy such an amazing piece of nature.

Niagara Falls itself is awesomely impressive, and could easily consume an entire day to see the park itself, and the "optional at additional cost" extras, such as the boat ride, descent of the cliffs to river level, and observation tower. But there didn't seem to be a lot of "other things" to do there, in what seems to be a relatively unreconstructed midwest-ish declining-fortunes mid-20th century town. We were unable to enter Canada for passport reasons, but perhaps there is some interesting things to do there.... it is much more built up and upscale/modern looking, at least as seen from the American side. Looking into Canada from Niagara Falls, NY reminded me of nothing so much as looking at West Berlin from East Berlin in 1985.

I never get tired of visiting Niagara Falls USA/Canada.
I never get tired of visiting Niagara Falls USA/Canada. I've been there at least 25 times over the years, and experienced every season of the year. You can always find something different to do. The Falls alone are magnificent and amazing to see. You will never be disappointed taking a trip to the Falls.

We spent two nights in a hotel on the American side and one afternoon walking the park and looking at the US side of the falls. The second day we walked to the Canadian side which we enjoyed more, the views are much better with more to do.
Niagara as a town from what we saw close by the falls is a dump and we were glad to get away from it.
We haven’t stayed there. We booked a hotel for night stay at Niagra for full family. But by mistake we booked the hotel in USA instead of Canada. And we canceled the booking next minute. We request property for refund but they strictly sad no. We requested again but still they are heartless people they didn’t even care about others situation. They just care about themselves. I just want to say think before booking at this property.
The hotel is located 1 block from the Niagara Falls State Park, and just around the corner from a bunch of food trucks serving a great variety of cuisines, and right in downtown Niagara Falls. It's 3 blocks away from the US Canada border.
They do have an indoor pool which we decided not to use (murky water), and a jacuzzi that was tepid.
The staff was very helpful, professional and attentive.
let me begin with the staff, the person who is on duty at that time was so friendly. he gave us breakfast even though our check in time is at 3 pm at that day. Breakfast is so-so as there are no choices. Room is so big for us two. With regards, to location though it is far from the scenic tourist spot the niagara falls but still loving it as it is near to the fashion outlet.
Hotel was very close to all Niagara falls attractions and beautiful gorge hiking trails. There is a free shuttle directly across from the hotel that travels to Niagara sites, nearby cities, and local state parks. The gentleman who runs the hotel is very kind and helpful and gave lot's of great tips on places to eat and exploring the area.
This property was sooo nice! The breakfast had many more choices than the previous hotel we stayed at. Our boys enjoyed the pool. The rooms were clean and quiet. It’s about 12 minutes from Niagara Falls which is fine with us because it was in a nice area away from all the craziness.
The rooms are bigger compared to the hotels in NY city, the location is perfect for a visit of the niagara falls, the breakfast is ok. Sure, it is an older hotel, but if you want to stay for a good price at the falls, this is the hotel you want to be :)
Everything!!! My family absolutely enjoyed our time in Niagara Falls and our hotel was always the perfect place to retire to at the end of the day. Every member of the staff that I met, was very kind and welcoming. The room provided all we needed.
Was comfortable and more upscale than the regular budget hotel. Extremely close to Niagara Falls and lots of other activities. Pillows were great! I wanted to steal them but didn't.
It was near the casino.
I also was able to get a delicious dinner at the hotel after a breath taking view of the Niagara Falls.and other activities there at the falls.
Within walking distance from Niagara Falls park. Very convenient location. Great breakfast. They have an inside pool. Parking is in front of the hotel. Great place.
