    This was an ideal stopover after flying into Fresno, being just 1hr from the airport, 30 mins from Mariposa Grove and 1.5hr from Yosemite Valley. We were in a motel room and not a cabin. The room and bed were very comfortable for our one night stay.

    Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park. Enjoyable stay at the hotel comfort free parking, fridge, coffee maker and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast started at 7am and we got enough fuel for the rest of the day doing hikes and swimming in the lake. Close location to Bass lake, Mcswain lake aqua sports, tenaye, wawona falls or Yosemite park. So much to explore you definitely need to come with your car and drive around. It’s a beautiful nature and safe clean peaceful area. Romantic, adventurous trip for us a newly we couple:) We are already excited to come again to Oakhurst!

    very close to Yosemite. 20 mins from the south entrance and 1 hour 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley, which is perfect, as you would still come back to Oakhurst do groceries,s and go to good restaurants

    Our room was a bit small so there was hardly any room from end of bed to window. Bed was also too soft. But nice big shower/hottub combo. Good breakfast and nice host Jo. Perhaps request a larger room.

    Great pit stop for Yosemite, I've stayed at other hotels and they've been fantastic. I opted for a more economical one this time around but obviously you get what you pay for. Would come back again as a pit stop for Yosemite

    The service people in this city were so friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants to choose to eat. Both places we had dinner were tasty and efficient. There is a clothing/souvenier shop in town with great selection. The visitor center was helpful and offered an adequate choice of Yosemite souveniers. Make sure you have a reservation for Yosemite or book a tour a head of time. Discover Yosemite Tours was excellent.

    Large well-kept hotel area with a playground and the possibility of walking a dog. The room is quite large, clean and with good sound insulation. The children were very happy with the indoor pool and jacuzzi. It was also nice to receive a message on the road that our room is ready and not to worry about it. The staff at breakfast was very nice, the breakfast is standard, but the staff tries very hard, it was very nice. Convenient location and many shops and cafes nearby.

    Excellent location for a stay over to or from Yosemite. Great homemade breakfast with fresh omelet and blueberry pancakes. Great view from the quadruple room (the Garden Rose). Nice and clean pool and pool area. Nice little terrace with a table and two chairs outside the Country Rose. Good recommendation by the host to visit nearby Bass Lake for evening drinks and dinner.

    We had a lovely stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Plenty of shoppes, petrol station and restaurant nearby. Breakfast was ok. We were delighted to see deers two mornings in the row just right outside our hotel room. About 30 minutes drive to Yosemite. Driving to Yosemite was a bit hairy. Cliffs and curves.
