Old Chatham is lovely but does not have much of a town.
Old Chatham is lovely but does not have much of a town. There is 1 restaurant called Jacksons which is great but the Country Store is closed with nothing else right there. The countryside is beautiful. It's nice to stay but you need to drive to Chatham or other venues to do things.
Reminded me of the motels we used to stay at on road trips when I was a kid with my family. It seems suitable for upstate New York. I really liked it! Like I said, mid century!
While this is an older hotel, the staff was very friendly and the facilities were very clean. It was an excellent value for my needs, and priced appropriately.
