The breakfast was honey buns and muffins. That’s it. Oh and Raisin Bran. There was no microwave in the room -although it was advertised as if there would be. Had to go to the lobby to use one and they had restrictions on what you could put in it. (Like no oatmeal). The room was dirty - like dead bugs AND LIVE bugs. Roaches specifically. Not palmetto bugs either - 🪳
Our beds made us SO itchy we could barely sleep - and I’m praying it’s just cheap detergent and not some sort of bugs. We had to clean pubic hair out of the tub before using it. The fridge didn’t work- which was fine because there were dead bugs in it. We use a cooler and buy ice every day because the AC in the room sucked too.
There was a man who appeared to live in a room at the hotel who was making drug sales constantly - in broad day light. Which whatever - I guess… but we have kids, so, not cool. And since we have kids, we had electronics to keep the occupied- but never not once was able to successfully connect any of it to the “free WiFi”. So the free WiFi is a total joke because you literally are unable to connect to it.
Ok…. That’s all I can think of. Oh.. the lady at the front desk was nice enough - just had the “don’t bother me vibes”. We arrived a couple hours early and she would not let us check in early- there’s a sign saying you can pay for early check in - but she told us we couldn’t. So that sucked.

A trip to the beach is never long enough! But we love Ormond! It’s not really a safe beach to swim in a lot…. Water is often times rough . But it’s a beautiful beach to watch the water and to walk on. And we love the town of Ormond. We feel safe walking as a family and at all hours to the shops and restaurants. Lots of nice friendly restaurants and the people here have always been very nice . But now, after rebuilding from a hurricane almost 2 years ago , you can tell they are super happy and appreciative to see vacationers coming back ! It’s nice to feel appreciated, instead of annoyed , by the locals . Can’t wait to come back ! Lulus is a fun place to eat! Terrible weekend. The rooms are dirty. No coffee pot, extra towels, not even a trash can in rooms. Then got locked out of room and had to wait till late for maintenance to break in to get our stuff to move to another room where there was no shower curtain none of the other stuff previously mentioned and tv remote didn’t work. The reason we like staying in Ormond Beach is because it is much quieter than Daytona less people But at the same time, there is nice hotels and condos with a lot of shops, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor, stores, gift, shops, and restaurants. One of the best places I have stayed would be at Symphony beach club it’s in Ormond Beach. Very clean, condos, the management is excellent and make sure your happy with your stay!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
It's a lovely town and great for families.
It's a lovely town and great for families. It is not crowded like Daytona. We ate at The North Turn, Stavro's Pizza House and Hull's Seafood. All were excellent! Very easy to navigate by car.

The room smelled sour.
The room smelled sour. The air conditioning unit was dirty as was the corners in the ceiling. The water was cold, so showers were not comfortable. The pool towels were old and small. The breakfast was okay but powdered eggs are not my favorite. Will not be returning

With the door access and door codes, it was easy to get in with no additional keys to carry (except to access the beach). It took me eight different rooms to finally be able to sleep only to wake up the next morning with bedbug bites all over me.! my son! The place was full of cockroaches we will never stay at this hotel again. Definitely one of the worst experience we’ve ever had in a hotel.
