We always stay here when we visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The rooms are comfortable and maintained. The staff are always friendly and we love the plants throughout the hallways.

Everything was great, and it felt like our trip was enhanced by the excellent service of this hotel. I originally booked a King Suite for one night, but because the King Suite was on the second floor and we had two 23kg suitcases which was very inconvenient for us to move around, so we decided to switch to a room on the ground floor temporarily. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at around 6 or 7 in the evening, and they not only helped us find a suitable room but also helped us carry our luggage. The ground floor room was not as large as the one on the second floor, but overall it was still quite nice. The entire room was heated by a fireplace, which made it very cozy.

Perfect place for me. The room was super big, lots of amenities, the location at the entrance of ASILOMAR grounds is perfect for beach access, for those interested in that. I was there for a conference; I had a great stay.

A huge bedroom with a fireplace ,full kitchen and dining area, an enclosed deck (meaning private with a high fence) with chairs and a separate space with a tv and couch in case your husband wants to watch sports! The breakfast was good. Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits and croissants, fresh fruits, yogurt, assorted cereals, juices and coffee. The staff monitoring the breakfast were friendly and attentive to details. You can eat inside, outside in a table by the fountain, in the gazebo, or take it to your room. The property is in a neighborhood just off the 17 Mile Dr road. Convenient to go to Monterey, Pebble Beach, and Carmel.

    We enjoyed this location as it was easy to access Monterey and all the areas we wanted to visit. Rosine's in Monterey is Tops to us! Transiting the area was very easy. No bad traffic. Everything flowed well.

    Safe, quiet, peaceful & walkable. Lots of good restaurants & small business gift, antique and other shops. Great place to unwind, walk, enjoy the ocean. Some of our favorites: The Bookworks coffee & book store very cozy-excellent coffee and baked goods. The store has nice book & card selection. Pavel's Bakerei, Fournier's home made chicken soup, so good! Short distance to other great places like Carmel by the sea & Monterey.

    I love each visit to Pacific Grove, a beautiful coastal town. We were blessed with beautiful weather and active surf. The walkability of the town and the kindness of the people in town are so appreciated. I highly recommend Pacific Grove as a beautiful place to visit!

    There’s a nice variety of activities- hiking at Point Lobos or Asilomar Beach or Garrapata SP, good dining at the International House or Vivolo’s Chowder House (Victorian Corner for breakfast), and shopping in the downtown area.

    The hotel was in a quiet area adjacent to trails, beach, and lighthouse. The cottages were tastefully decorated, and our hosts could not have been more pleasant or helpful. We'll certainly be back for a longer stay in the future...We couldn't recommend them more highly!

    We paid $250 per night for this exceptionally deferred property. I don’t know how they get away with it the toilet overflowed and plugged up twice and then just before we left it wouldn’t flush at all. The shower spout was coming off the wall and the shower would not work, there is no heat in the rooms. You can see where they covered over and painted where a heater was and left you with a space heater. The coffee pot would not work then they brought another one that was also broken. There was bird poop on the window so when you looked out at the view, you saw big bird poops it seemed like they had transient people staying there living there. The people in the room next to me were smokers and it smelled up our room. I asked to be compensated and they gave me the total runaround. The manager will not call me back. it was a terrible experience and I do not recommend going here .

    What I liked? Well, lovely interior design in schabby chic style, beautiful house, welcoming atmosphere. Angela was so kind waiting for us,and giving us advices about where to eat,event though we came late. It's so unusual for USA hotel standards to eat home-made breakfast. Here you can be sure - there is an information about what will be served the next day (with a picture!). What's more, personel was super friendly and helpful. Thank You for making our stay so pleasant. Ps.Pacific Grove is incredibly beautiful and charming!

    A really old fashioned and charming hotel. Good off road parking and very pleasant and welcoming staff. Lovely dining room offering breakfast with sea views. Nice well kept garden area and lovely old fashioned walnut room which was dated but comfortable.
