All of the staff was friendly except the one that done our check-in. He didn't attempt to say hello, or anything. He had a bad vibe from the moment I got to the counter. The only time he spoke to me was when I asked my daughter on purpose out loud so he could hear me, did she think he had an attitude. Then he tried to make a fake convo by asking did we have a good drive or flight there.

    The water was very clear, and the sand was brilliant white. The weather was excellent while we were there in early September. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel has a bar and food. There are two restaurants just across the street. Diego's and Shuckum's.

    We cannot share about the restaurants because we did not eat in Many of them. We did have lunch at Diego‘s with our furry little girl in her stroller so they do accept pets on the patio and the food was delicious. The dog beach right after pier Park was phenomenal ! There is a place where your dog can go to the beach. Pier Park has lots of shops /restaurants/multiple seating areas outside for people watching. Great place to have dinner and sit outside and relax in the evening.

    The mixed drinks I got from the nice side of the resort. I had to get one or two to deal with all of the bull crap. Advice get the cup for $30.00 cheaper. I got 2 and paid $30. But my first drink in day 1 of didn’t think I’d be having a bother one the second day.

    Panama City Beach is a great beach to visit.

    Panama City Beach is a great beach to visit. The city seems to be doing a lot of construction on the roads especially on back beach road. Certain times of the day a regular 5 mile trip took us upward to 45 minutes.

    First of all we enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach...

    First of all we enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach from our balcony and taking a morning walk on the beach . St. Andrew’s State Park is a great place to visit where you can relax and pick up sea shells and maybe see an Ice Cream boat come by. The Turtle Girls is a great place for a little shopping . If you would like a great place to have breakfast , need to try “ Sunnyside Grill”.

    Mid-August: lots of families, and not really party town (like Daytona), so that was a nice surprise. Calm waters most of the time. Not a lot of shells though. Lots of fish and some other wildlife. Pier was beautifully clean (likely due to the fact that one has to pay to visit - it's cheap). McGuire's Irish Pub has the best Senate Soup. Fish and chips were okay (it's made with a catfish-like fish, not haddock, and is not beer battered). But the shepherd's pie and soup was amazing! Go deep sea fishing with Jubilee Fishing! Great crew and we caught lots of fish! Fun experience for everyone!

    The hotel was fairly new so it was impeccable! The cleanliness, the decor, and the staff were courteous. The breakfast was not very good on the first day, the staff did not maintain the availability of the items listed as being a part of the breakfast buffet. However, on the second day, the breakfast checked all the boxes and the omelets were great! The room was beautifully appointed and we also used the exercise room and had a good workout. The location was AWESOME! Pier Park is in the backyard!

    Casa Loma is a beachfront hotel with a heated pool. The location is excellent and convenient to downtown Panama City Beach and the best restaurants on the coast. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with TVs with cable channels. The staff is discreet but accommodating. The beach is gorgeous and clean, with the option to rent umbrellas and sunbeds if desired. Otherwise, you can use your equipment. Staying here was an excellent experience!
