This hotel is just a few blocks from downtown Springfield and less than 10 minutes from both Interstate 75 and 55. It has an outdoor pool and a hot tub. The only reason I will still there is because it is across the street from the hospital where my child has long term stays.
Just 1 mile from the Illinois State Capitol, this Springfield hotel features a free shuttle service to nearby attractions and Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport. Each guest room comes with free Wi-Fi. Free Shuttle bus to the fairgrounds was very convenient. Close to downtown and fair. Parking lot 👍
Located in Springfield, 1969 feet from Old State Capitol, State House Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham features accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking and a shared lounge. The front desk woman was extremely helpful in recommending sites and restaurants. The hotel was right next to the Capitol building and within walking distance of many restaurants.

We had a jacuzzi room. It was very nice and clean. Good location just a few minutes from downtown. The breakfast was very good also.
Steps away from Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library, this hotel is located in the heart of historic downtown Springfield and offers an indoor pool, on-site dining and modern guest rooms... Great location, excellent staff and beautiful furnishings. The staff was helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The food at the on-site restaurant was quite good, as well.
Located in the historic area of Springfield, Illinois, Wyndham Springfield City Center offers luxurious rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV and panoramic views of the city. People were nice but I was without a car and everything was a long walk in terrible heat
Petersburg is a nice town and we got in late in the afternoon and left the next morning. We spent the evening at a church in Athens to see Ivan Parker and his son. So we didn't get to do much looking around. But what I saw made me want to see more. So I would like to go back when I can spend a little more time. People are friendly and that goes for the town Police officer, who could have given me a ticket but did not. God bless him.
Staff were friendly , very helpful
