We stayed for 3 nights so we could attend a car show on the Sunday nearby, had planned on doing a lot more but the weather was a shocker. Staff were great very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Pomona has a lot of nice restaurants like Merenderos Mexican restaurant, Mi Cafecito coffee shop or a staple of Pomona Donahoos Chicken. There are a ton of other places to eat, as well as the downtown area which is also pretty cool and it’s a pretty fun nightlife that they have with nightclubs, the famous Fox Theater and other various sorts of entertainment. But there’s also a lot of bad parts to Pomona with gangs, drugs and prostitution on the main corridors, like Holt Ave. and Mission Blvd.

There was gross stuff on the walls. The towels were dirty.
There was gross stuff on the walls. The towels were dirty. The free breakfast was not offered supposedly because we needed to make a reservation, which was not I dictated at the time of reservation. There was an additional charge for parking that was also not published.

The Doubletree Pomona was nice.
The Doubletree Pomona was nice. The hotel was clean, the staff was nice, and there was parking, however they do charge for it. The location was good and easy to find. The room had a double bed and a sofa and there was extra room, which made it comfortable.

Nothing was wrong with Pomona.
Nothing was wrong with Pomona. It was the hassel of the reservations payment with Booking.com and Motel 6 policy in canceling my reservations, and their system of not accepting my credit card (which was GOOD!) Motel 6 was simply an AWEFUL experience!!

Pomona is not the best area.
Pomona is not the best area. The hotel's location is not in a residential area so it was not part of the bad neighborhood element of Pomona, but the surrounding area can be unsafe with a high gang presence especially at night. Pomona does host the annual county fair and has a major college nearby and those are fine, but I'd stay out of Pomona neighborhoods at night especially for a woman alone. The hotel has a good location for travel because it's right by the freeway so easy to visit other areas.
I have to stay in Pomona several times a month for production work and I've stayed at this location before ... The must have recently all taken a class in hotel and customer service the experience was a delight, friendly helpful service and generous good cheer made all the difference ... I actually look forward to staying here again .what a remarkable difference .I won't stay any where else thank you for making my weekend so enjoyable Ryan carroll
I stayed there for 2 nights for my Engineering Board Exam, for 2019 & 2021. Before COVID-19, they actually served excellent breakfast (with hand-made waffles plus "all-you-can-decorate" toppings!). C/P value is high, and makes it like a 4-Star Hotel. Also it's right next to CVS so even there are not many restaurants nearby, you can always get microwave dinner!
Bedroom was well designed and decorated in a contemporary and confident style - twice as stylish as the entrance areas which are a bit more corporate/generic in vibe. Efficient check in, efficient check out. Spotlessly clean hotel gym. Supper in the restaurant was very good, all made with organic ingredients from hotel farm.
I booked at the last minute for an event at the Fairplex, I was happy to get a room. I normally stay in higher end hotels but found this to be very adequate for my purposes. I would have given it higher marks except there was a cock roach in our room which didn't please me.
Every one of the staff was great!
I didn't like anything about the hotel because I never got the chance to stay in the room. I asked for a refund because Priceline or booking.com picked the wrong City and I got stuck with the bill and didn't even try to make it right so basically they just flat out stole My money
I did not like anything at all... room was very dirty. The beds had stains and they were not made properly. It was horrible. We did not end up staying we had to find another hotel because every room that was offered to us was horrible. Absolutely will NOT recommend.
-The private location of the hotel on top of a hill is pretty awesome.
-Beautiful restaurant with views
-Plenty of parking, covered and uncovered (be mindful of the $10 charge)
-Lovely decorations and designs on entrance
The location for me was fine, but it was a very basic hotel. No microwave, no fridge, no kettle. However, staff were very happy to fill up my flask every night with hot water for my teas.
I really liked the property, the set up of the hotel and the theme of the room that we stayed in. The bed was so comfortable, clean, cozy, and the room was very spacious and welcoming.
I did not stay in this Hotel. I did not know that the area was bad. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. I asked him to cancel. He said you had to cancel.
