Port Angeles and Sequim are both delightful little towns, very different but both very friendly. And very near the beautiful Olympic National Park. We commuted to practice medicine there for 5 years, and it would be a wonderful place to live, but certainly is a delight to visit. Many upscale restaurants in both towns. Port Angeles is a good mid-point between Port Townsend and Neah Bay Indian Reservation. Waterfront area is the main attraction in P.A. with several restaurants to choose from. We were on a bicycle trip from the San Juan Islands to Sol Duc Hot Springs. We camped mostly, but stayed in a room at Port Angeles so that we could take a bus up to Hurricane Ridge. The bus was a bargain at $2 round trip (half that for seniors), and we were able to park our bicycles in a locker near the waterfront at no charge.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

Port Angeles is in a rain shadow. It doesn't receive lots and lots of rain like most of western Washington State. The city has a wide variety of shopping and entertainment choices for whatever your taste may be. The people are very friendly. We took a walk around the town on the day we were there and found it to be very pedestrian friendly. Fantastic restaurants close by the ferry where we had the best fish and chips and crab cakes ever! Did not have time to do much as we only spent one night before catching the ferry to Victoria, but would definitely love to return to this area and explore more.Guest review byJulieUnited States

Loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was and how comfortable the tent was despite the weather. We had adequate blankets and cushions and things to be comfortable, even if the layout was simple and somewhat boho-inspired from a look perspective. Loved the camping experience. It’s ideally located from the Main Street in Port Angeles, as well a one of the Olympic NP visitor center. We arrived way earlier than check-in time but were still able to get a room and get settled.
