This was our first visit to Port Aransas.
This was our first visit to Port Aransas. We have stayed in Corpus Christi and South Padre Island, and chose Port Aransas to see something different. We were drawn there by the many local parks and opportunities to be out in nature, but it was so hot we ended up being in the water most of the time. We plan to go back in October to enjoy more of the area. We are retirees, but enjoy children and families around us. This may not be the best place for you if you like quiet and isolation, as there were lots of families with children of all ages, and lots of golf carts and traffic. It is a very kind and friendly family place- people everywhere were very cordial and polite. Very walkable town. We highly recommend the Seafood and Spaghetti Works for dinner, but get there early. nice beach town with lots of stores for shopping, and restuarants to dine at.Great place for dinner would be Seafood & Pasta Works, the service and food was amazing, great ambience too.
