The front desk staff was amazing and friendly. I needed forks and she had a line of guests and kindly stepped away to get me some so I didn’t have to wait.

Prineville was just a stop over for us but we found plenty to do. Lot's of little "vintage" markets. The best of these was The Vintage Cottage & Redemption Co. We had our meals at Dillons Grill (some reviews aren't very good but we had amazing service & great food at normal prices) We enjoyed a lunch, Dinner & Dessert there. Across the street from Dillons was a great shop called "Makers" (Rick Steber and Company MAKERS) with some pretty amazing artists items to purchase and Rick Steber (Author) himself was there to sign our books we bought. We just missed the Saturday Market while on our walk exploring the area.

Love the country Prineville is in and it is certainly a busy place. Has grown a lot from all the years we have been through there. We didn't do a whole in Prineville as we were passing through to the Painted Hills but there would be no problem for anyone to explore the area and have a great time doing it.

Beautiful town with a beautiful mountains around you.

Beautiful town with a beautiful mountains around you. The town is small which I like. It's nestled down in what I call a bowl. Mountain view everywhere. Apple Peddler restaurant is right across the driveway to check in. Fabulous food.

The hotel is very clean and the staff welcoming and efficient. We loved the breakfast, especially the hot items like scrambled eggs and bacon. We also appreciated the fresh cookies offered to guests at reception. The parking is free. Our room was spacious, clean, with nice furniture. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, the hotel is great for exploring the Painted Hills area and Smith Rock State Park.

This hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Within walking distance of a great brew pub with street food outside. A lovely safe town to visit. Great location between painted Hills and mount hood.
