Timber Ridge Lodge Ouray, hotel in Ridgway

Offering ice climbing, hiking, whitewater rafting and summer canyoning opportunities, this lodge is just 0.5 miles from Ouray town center and 5 minutes’ walk away from Ouray Hot Springs pools.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were given a room on the top floor at the back of the building so we did not hear any traffic noise (the hotel is located on the main road leading into Ouray). We could see the mountains from our window so we had a very nice view. Coffee and hot chocolate were available in the lobby. Overall, the stay was very nice.

Super cute, great location. Room was so clean and comfortable. Staff was a pleasure to talk to. Although breakfast was off site, it was good and didn’t mind to walk a couple of blacks to the Mexican restaurant; food was yummy! Great experience. Will definitely stay there again!

The ability to expand our group to accommodate preparation and logistics for our daughter's wedding at Top of the Pines was critical. The outdoor patios and Huge Basement gave everyone room to spread out, and find their own place. Kitchen and Outdoor grill gave us cooking options for breakfast and dinners. The location was close to all points of interest, and a short 45 minutes to airport. Fly Fishing, Teluride day trips, Ouray Hiking and Hot springs were minutes away. Host was very accomodating and answered back as quickly as possible. will book again possibley for elk season, ww

First time we have stayed in Ridgeway.

First time we have stayed in Ridgeway. We stayed there to help control our costs, since Ouray is very expensive. We were pleasantly surprised by the scenery, number of outdoor activities, peacefulness of the town, close proximity to Ouray and the number and variety of restaurants.

The more you look, the more you find!!!

The more you look, the more you find!!! We have fallen in love with this little town. At first it was a .... just driving through to get to Telluride or Qurey, but actually this little gem of a town is really worthwhile spending some time in. Kate's has a absolutely great breakfast!!! We stayed at Hotel Palomino, such a lovely extremely well designed little hotel, we loved it and can't wait to get back!! We also stayed at the MTN Lodge, as the Palomino was fully booked which was also lovely but is more main stream. This small town has quite a few great places to eat. Our favorite was Brown Dog Pizza ... AMAZING Pizza's!! and one night we ate at the Eatery 66, small menu but great food.

If management has training to handle complaints, the Ridgeway will be a wonderful place to stay. No one should ever pound on the door of another room in any circumstance. That is just really BAD judgment.

The town itself is good, with some surprising food options. However, it serves as a truly fantastic base to explore the San Juan mountains and scenic byway. It's not very far from Telluride, Ouray or Silverton. Durango is a bit further, but the Million Dollar Highway makes for a great drive!

Ridgway is a town in Colorado among more "famous" locations like Telluride and Ouray, but it doesn't disappoint. Some great places to eat and beautiful scenery. Beth's sandwiches is a very small place, but she makes great sandwiches at a very good price!

We only stayed here for one night but it would have been great for a longer stay. Pleasant spacious room in a newly refurbished hotel and very comfortable bed. I would also like to thank the staff for their patience in parcelling up my partner's jacket and forwarding it by UPS to Denver, where we were en route to before leaving for the UK, after he left it behind and we were already too far away to return for it. While this must have been inconvenient, they were unfailingly polite and helpful over the Booking.com messenger service.

It was a pleasant surprise! we arrived late and were welcomed by 2 friendly ladies at the reception. Rooms were clean and spacious. Everything was available in the room to make it a good stay. We were also able to have some dinner after arrival! Do taste the wings, they are GOOD!! The bar is small and cozy and if you want you could also sit outside, with a stunning view. Hotel had enough parking space too and was a good central location to do sight seeing!

This hotel had a great location and friendly and helpful staff. They are in the middle of a remodel, but working around it just fine. Our room appeared all new! Also, they have popcorn in the room for you:) I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location itself, the spa area, especially the hot pool. The architecture of the hotel is really nice. I like this kind of pueblo style. Also the great size of the room/apartment was not expected
