The Chipeta Inn was my favorite hotel on our 24 day tip through the rockies. Our room was a suite so we entered through a small well designed bedroom into a very large master bedroom. It had a sofa, comfortable chairs, a private deck and a balcony. Our room was made of adobe, had interesting round "corners" smoothed by adobe with artistic inserts-some with stained glass. If you like originally designed rooms you will love the Chipeta. It is a resort so they have their own restaurant which featured a very good guitar player the night we were there. There is a dog park across the street with open views to the mountains. The manager and receptionist carried our luggage up to our rooms when we headed off to dinner.

The Hot Springs Inn was a very nice place to stay. The location was close yet far enough from the center of town (quiet). I really enjoyed the river view and balcony overlooking the river. The room was large and very nicely decorated.

We stayed in the Inn/hotel and loved it! The staff were over the top friendly and helpful, we loved the ease of checking in and out, and the whole place had a great vibe. It was just enough distance from town to feel a little more isolated but close enough to not feel an ounce of inconvenience.

    Our room was perfect for what we needed. The location is very close to Ouray where we did most of our outdoor activities. The AC worked well, window blinds was a nice raise/lower design, lamps had wireless phone chargers, and parking was plentiful and easy. Overall, out stay was very comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying at MTN Lodge Ridgway.

    Great location close to several towns. Easy access and private parking. Spacious cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Dining/attractions only a few minutes down the road makes the location ideal.
