Charming, folksy, historical ambience, two minutes walk to the river with a mile and a half trail along side the scenic Rogue. Warm and welcoming staff of friendly, interesting people. They went out of their way to make me comfortable, even bringing up a mini fridge to my room which wasn't normally offered in that room, and bringing a microwave to my sisters room which also wasn't normally offered in that room. They feed you a lot--a full breakfast, appetizers at 4:30 which you could practically make dinner out of, fresh cookies out of the oven at 7:30 every night. Games to play available in the large and homey family room/lobby, with a big fireplace. Just such a lovely view out of the dining room. You look out into the the huge lawn and the tall trees and the cabins below. Also it's located with an easy driving distance to many fun hikes and other special attractions of the area.

This vacation home offers free private parking, private check-in and check-out, and free Wifi. Outdoor seating is also available at The River House.

Great location close to town, but still a bit rural with a great view of the river. The layout was nice, and the amenities offered were excellent. Excellent stay with excellent hosts.

I booked this for my son and girlfriend last minute due to plan changes. It not only accomodated son/girlfriend but other son/wife so they were able to visit together. Could not have asked for more My son now wants his parents (us) to experience this place also

The Riverside Inn is the largest hotel on the Rogue River. 63 rooms, all with private balconies overlooking the river.

I came to Grants Pass for one night on my way south to visit a friend from New Zealand and I loved my time there, although it was very short. I stayed for 1 night and had a beautiful room overlooking the river. My room was beautifully presented and very clean. Everything was available to meet my needs. The bed was super comfortable and the room was the perfect temperature. Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly, approachable and happy to help with any requests. I had a few beers at a local brewery that was buzzing even on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon and was packed with families with small children all enjoying themselves around the outdoor firepits. The accommodation was located within a short walking distance of anything you could possibly need. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Staff was extremely helpful during check-in, I had unforseen issues she helped me work around and find a solution. Management was very understanding when I mistakenly thought I had one more night, literally took me a hour and a half passed check-out to get completely out of the room. It was an unfortunate situation but they remained professional and kind. Granted I understood the importance of being out of the room as soon as I could.. Thank you, management and staff for understanding, definitely will be staying again although I'll be checking-out on time next time,.
