How to sum up this experience? Well it was worth the 2.5 hour drive! This hotel is cute and simple, with an excellent view of the ocean. At night, the light pollution is so minimal that the stars and planets are incredibly visible. Truly a sight to see. I believe that I saw more stars here than I ever have with my own eyes. You can even see the Milky Way. The people are kind and the staff are very helpful! I would recommend that you bring bug spray if you plan on sitting on your porch/balcony or walking around at night. My stay at Island Inn will not be forgotten any time soon.

All the amenities are excellent. Location is fantastic. The units closest to the Resort Center are by far the best. The distant units with no balcony feel too isolated. The sushi bar was outstanding.
