The stuff was super nice because I couldn’t show up the first night due to flight cancellation and they didn’t want me to pay. They have snacks at very low price and the rooms are really comfortable and clean. highly recommended

Located only minutes from San Diego International Airport, world-class sailing and whale watching, this hotel offers comfort and modern amenities.

The room was big and very clean, and we had 2 comfortable beds. When we checked in the room allocated was close to the elevators, and we asked to move which they did to a much quieter room. The hotel overall is a little dated, but we liked the holiday atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, the only suggestion is that they would use real knives and forks, plates etc. instead of plastic. Parking was plentiful and free. The hotel is close to bars and restaurants, and convenient for all the highlights that San Diego offers.

The Art of Easy Living

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favourite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.

The city’s most recognisable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. The original Spanish mission, the first in California, has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighbourhoods.

The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbour seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.

Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodation encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.

The Central Public Library in the city is very special to me, because I discovered my father’s patent record in the US on the most valuable discovery of the magical coenzyme and the greatest benefits his invention has brought to humankind. His patent number is 20050058718, which is like a digital lock to lock up his trade secret or his bonanza that can cure and prevent all kinds of diseases and thus has been generating unprecedented economy to the US and China.

Loved the Seaport Village - so many small shops and great food locations. Highly recommend Edgewater Bar & Grill For breakfast i would go back to Swami's Cafe - fantastic pancakes, the selection of endless coffee was amazing. And the service was awesome. Donut Bar next door is a must for when we go back the size of the donuts!

Great city, steal is $2.50 airport bus to close downtown every few minutes (traffic currently bad returning to airport due to Terminal 1 construction, give a little extra time that direction). Weather nearly always great, city & Bay lively & entertaining, great food options often reasonable. Coronado island great contrast, if you have some time. Pacific side picturesque island beach a 30-40 minute walk or 10 minute bus (also $2.50) from ferry station (pricier $8 / bay ride & the 1 ticket machine on island not working when I was there 11.05.23, had to fast book online with additional small booking fee to catch ferry back). My favorite convention city with all the above and convention center next to the bay and historic Gaslamp District.

I hadnt been to San Diego in over 20 years and was able to...

I hadnt been to San Diego in over 20 years and was able to sightsee a bit more on this trip albeit we mostly only drove through several areas like Chula Vista and Coronado. Walking around Old Town was great seeing the historic buildings and shops, of which some are still utilized, and learning about the families that resided there, their magnificent homes and businesses. We hesrd the hotel and church were haunted, but they weren't open. La Jolla Cove was the only other area where we got out to walk and view the beach, seals, and seagulls, which were amazing. We didnt get a chance to go to the Safari Zoo, museums,, or shops, but hopefully will get to next tine. We also drove 20 minutes out to Jamul Casino and was in awe of how beautiful and clean it was. Slots were tight so it was a quick visit.

Lovely hotel with a great location in Little Italy. Walking distance to the waterfront, Downtown San Diego and Balboa Park. 3 blocks away from a trolley station. 10 minute car ride to the airport. The area is awesome, feels very safe at night with plenty of movement (though the room is quiet so no problem getting a good night's sleep). Many restaurants and coffee shops nearby which provide great options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Room size is OK and a microwave is included. A/C unit working. Friendly staff.

We often stay at this hotel. It's the best deal in San Diego. It's not upscale or fancy, but always exceptionally clean and just a very nice cozy room. The grounds and common areas are very nice, the rooms are large some with kitchenettes and all with fridge and micro and dining table. This time our room had new carpet which was nice. Also, we didn't book a room with a kitchenette, but we got one :-).

It is a safe and comfortable hotel the moment I walk in. It is the tallest hotels in downtown San Diego. The gym is clean and it has bay views windows which motivates me to workout while staying. The room is nice, the bottom of shower has slight mildew. I will definitely recommend relatives and friends to stay for vacation and will come back again. Thank you.

This is the second time staying here due to the proximity to Petco Park (the sky bridge is the best!) and to the Gaslamp Quarter. It’s the best place. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Spent time at the pool and it was clean and the atmosphere was great. I had a massage there and it was exceptional. This is now my go to hotel when going to San Diego. Thank you!!

Anybody who has wrote a review and complained about this hotel is insane. This place is the biggest bang for your buck in probably all of San Diego county. The location is amazing, staff is outstanding and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Amazing amenities next to the pool. I’m very thankful I took this chance after reading some of the reviews.
