Everything there was beautiful and wonderful to see, all the shops were fantastic. The food was great everything was so close together ,you didn't need a car you just walk around. Santa Barbara has a casual relaxed feeling to it. A walk on the pier is a must. Free 90minute parking but walk instead. The Spanish-style architecture gives the city a unique charm. With the mountains as a background, the ocean spreads out to the west. This is a city to chill and stroll in. Most of restaurants are located on State Street, which was closed off to vehicles and was more like a pedestrian Mall on Sunday night. Not sure if it's closed for foot traffic every night. We had a wonderful room overlooking the beach, pier and harbour with private balcony with a beautiful sunrise every morning. The breakfast and cheese and wine afternoon is great and plenty full. Also there is a hot drinks station open 24/7. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The heated pool and jacuzzi are great to for a relax after a sight seeing day.
