Although our group frequent downtown Chicago, Schiller Park was nice. We enjoyed access and frequent visits to the local parks, especially the Des Plaines River Trail. We saw lots of wildlife (deer, raccoons, rabbits) and enjoyed frog sounds at night. For the young athletes there were good things for them to enjoy. The elevator broke down (we heard it does often) and we were on the 7th floor I'm 80 years old with a hip issue, we asked to be moved to the 1st floor but NO, so we got room on the 2nd floor but it was still very difficult to use 2 fights of stairs.
