Mayflower Park Hotel

Mayflower Park Hotel

Hotel in Downtown Seattle, Seattle

Built in 1927, this historic hotel located in the center of Seattle is within a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market. It features Andaluca Restaurant and Oliver’s Lounge. Reception people were paciant, helpful & kind. We asked to keep one luggage stored in the hotel until we arrive back from an out-state trip. Hotel staff agreed to store it for us free of charge, which was great news! We are a family of two adults & 3 kids. the delux room with two queen beds was comfortable but, what was a real plus that the room had two bathrooms.

Hyatt at Olive 8

Hyatt at Olive 8

Hotel in Downtown Seattle, Seattle

Featuring an indoor swimming pool with a city view and plush lounge chairs, this modern Seattle hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the University of Washington. A full-service spa is also featured. The room was great, ready early so we checked in at 1.30. Got a kettle with one call to reception. The pool (and all the extras: mouthwash, deodorant, hairspray, body lotion to mention but a few) was wonderful. Great spot just off the main shopping area and 3 blocks from the main light rail stop from the airport.

FAQs about hotels in Seattle

The Emerald City

Nicknamed the Emerald City due to its lush greenery, Seattle is best known for its great waterfront, fantastic skyline and infamous rainy weather. In reality though, the city gets less rain a year than New York or Atlanta!

One look at Seattle’s skyline and you’re immediately drawn to its most iconic building, the Space Needle. Standing proudly at 184 metres, this major landmark features a rotating restaurant at 150 metres and was featured on numerous films and TV shows, including the classic "Sleepless in Seattle".

The Needle stands not far from the popular Pike Place Market, a public farmer’s market selling fresh produce and crafts from local farms and independent merchants. It’s also a place where Starbucks Corporation was founded in 1971, and today you can enjoy a cup of coffee in their original store! Seattle has many popular parks and, thanks to its mild marine climate, is a great place for outdoor activities. A visit to Kerry Park to admire the best view of the city with Mt. Rainier in the background is a must!

Arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you’re only about 35 minutes from the centre of the city and whether you’re looking for a hotel with free parking or near the airport, Booking.com offers a great choice for your Seattle trip.
