These hotels in Sedona are highly rated by couples: Adobe Grand Villas, El Portal Sedona Hotel, and Matterhorn Inn.
Sedona is beautiful, but you need a car and money. The shopping area is nice and walkable, but not super ADA friendly. There are lots of hills, nothing crazy but if your pushing a wheelchair your going to need muscles, if you have an electric chair/ scooter make sure it can handle steep inclines. Actives are expensive and book fast, don't wait until the day before to book anything or your not getting in. Miniman a week advance.. If you like to shop or can hike alone your good to go. I would recommend going if you can. The beautiful scenery is calming and the people are the nicest, most friendly people I've encountered in a tourist town.
Sedona is a simply awesome place with a great climate with many amazing things to see and do. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a must see. Take a visit to the uptown area for wonderful views and great shops and restaurants. Flagstaff, Meteor Crater and Winslow also worth a visit if you’re travelling to the Phoenix area. Montezuma Castle also amazing.
Sedona is beautiful and there are lots of hikes and tours one can take whilst there. We recommend the Jeep Outlaw Tour (three hours) in the desert. That was great. Also, getting out of town and hiking up the trails and seeing 360 degree vistas for between five and 50 miles! The town? A bit of a disappointment: too many t-shirt shops and crystal shops for my taste. I expected more high-end galleries and high-end restaurants but the restaurants IN TOWN tend to be more cafeteria/low-end touristy-type places. Big fail on the city fathers/mothers!
We stayed 4 days and there was still so much to do. Reservations were hard to get so you may want to pre-plan. All the food we ate was amazing! Everywhere is beautiful and people that live there were so kind.
So beautiful, many options for hiking, sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, sunset viewing. Wish I would have thought to view sunrise in prime location as well. Not much of a nightlife; city pretty much shuts down after sunset.
Great location for hiking and shopping mix. Food is expensive and fast food is almost nonexistent. Great way to see wonderful trails of every level. Most are more advanced than ratings I have experienced in other areas. Take more water than what you think you will need.
The hotel is in Oak Creek Village with places to eat within walking distance. Oak Creek seems to be reinventing itself and is doing a great job of it. The scenery around it is stunning with Bell Rock being very prominent. The hotel itself looks to be newly remodelled and is a really comfortable place to stay. Its a really good base for exploring the Sedona area without having to stay in the middle of Sedona itself which gets extremely busy and eating options can be very expensive.
Convenient location, clean, beautiful decor. I loved the breakfast and the fact that we could sit outside to eat. There were several seating areas around the property. The pool area was clean and not far from the rooms. They also have a viewing area, a small climb up hill behind the resort. I loved watching the sun come up from up there. I'm sure it was great spot for star gazing. We didn't make it to that. The hotel also offers free bikes for bike rides around the town.
Loved the location out of central Sedona. It was more laid back and less touristy. We found a great bar over the road to chat to locals, watch sport, listen to live music and eat delicious food. The view of the rocks from our 2nd floor balcony was stunning. Breakfast was great. Service from Theresa in reception was great as she did her best to accommodate our requests.
West, Sedona
The space is beautiful and well decorated. We loved our room- comfortable and very romantic. It feels like a boutique experience and is well located in Sedona. We highly preferred West Sedona to Uptown. I wish we could have stayed at this hotel longer than 2 nights! The rooms were very nice and we enjoyed spending time in them vs as a room “just for sleeping”
Location was great! Close enough to main strip on Sedona, just a few minutes. The restaurant on site, Rascal, was super good, and just steps away from your room. Pool area great, with ping pong, foosball and pool side service. Excellent staff and big clean rooms. Can’t say enough, just perfect, hit the right spot. Not trying too hard, just plain good!
Uptown, Sedona
The location was phenomenal. Step out the door and be surrounded by beauty. Located uptown Sedona, walkable to the main drag, around the corner from Theia's cafe on Cedar St. Great space, kitchenette, modern bathroom. Go for a Pink Jeep Tour, check at office if the tours are booked online.
The room I had was clean and comfortable, though quite small. The pool & deck area are fantastic. Best view in town!!!! I loved the town, the location of the hotel was great; walking distance to many shops & restaurants. Sedona is a beautiful place. I want to return soon.
great location, beautiful resort. Its one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Arizona!!! We are definitely planning on staying here again when we visit Sedona. great resort, food, drinks, Starbucks in mornings. lots of activities for kids and love the fire pits lol
Great location. We had a terrific view of the Sedona rock formations right out our window. Located right in the main part of town, where everything was an easy walk from the hotel. Room was very nice, staff was great...we would highly recommend this hotel.
Loved the location and the friendly staff. The hotel is about 5 miles from the major part of Sedona and it has less traffic. Lots of restaurant choice near by, as well. The hotel was clean and nicely kept. I would definitely stay there again.
I think the best part of this hotel is the staff. Specifically the guy on the evening shift, Moises. He is beyond friendly and helpful. The next time we visit Sedona, I will definitely consider staying here before any other hotel.
The hotel fit our needs for our trip. We were there for hiking and the breakfast was good for starting out our day. The location fit our needs as it is right in the middle of the trails and all Sedona has to offer.
West, Sedona
Feels like home away from home . Great for people on a budget and wanting a more local vibe of Sedona . Bed so comfortable will stay here whenever I am come back to Sedona
Terrific hotel and location to trails while just away from the crazy of downtown Sedona. Terrific staff pool area and gym.
The general area of the hotel ie reception, 'lounge' area was great.
Cute decorated room matching the Sedona style.
Best hotel view in whole sedona!!!
