We loved the location… felt secluded and peaceful but was in close proximity to restaurants, shops and tours. We also had dinner at Cress which was great watching bats fly over the creek and I enjoyed a massage at the spa also. And the house car which was for coming back from dinner in the evening.

Fantastic city with such beautiful views that rival the Grand Canyon. The rock formations are unbelievable both in color and size. We went to Out of Africa and found it to be very interesting. We also did the train ride through Verde Valley and enjoyed it very much.
We loved the town of Jerome with their shops and buildings that dated back almost two hundred years. You need to try the Squash soup at the Asylum restaurant at the Grand Hotel. And the views from the restaurant stretch all the way to the mountains.
There is a copper museum in Cottonwood that was amazing. couldn't believe all the uses for copper and the original art pieces that were made from the copper.

A lot of commercialized things.
A lot of commercialized things. Hiking trails are busy... and a lot of shopping options... but being from Maine our family enjoys a little more space and less people Thought November it would be quiet but town seemed to be quite busy.

Sedona Real Hotel was convenient for us on the west side of town - in and out quickly. Good pizza across the street at Famous Pizza, good bakery at Layla's. Hope to stay longer next time!

I immediately felt the healing and peaceful energy of Sedona from the first night driving to the hotel. The morning was even better with the amazing views. Town folks and proprietors were all welcoming and friendly. We did a Pink Jeep tour which got us out in the mountain and terrain, then did a horse back riding tour out by a vineyard. All were amazing experiences. This is a town for either adventure or soul searching and healing, or both. I cannot wait to return.
