This was an excellent hotel, with helpful staff, beautiful grounds and large, well-stocked and thoughtfully designed rooms. I'd recommend requesting the ground-floor rooms that open into the garden. It was cool to wake up to the scent of flowers and chirping of birds in front of the red rocks. There were hummingbirds visiting the feeders hung in the garden which was a real treat for us, having never seen hummingbirds in real life before! Room itself was large and had good storage; we especially liked the convenience of the sink area being separated from the shower/WC. Very useful when multiple people are staying together. Appreciated the generous amounts of toiletries, especially the big bottle of body lotion: a huge help in the dry climate. The fridge was also big compared to those in other hotels, which was much needed to cool all our drinks for long hikes. You can walk right from the property up to Sunset Vista, which has red deck chairs and offers great 360 degree views of the rocks and is beautiful at sunset. Brett, the concierge, gave an interesting free talk on the history of Sedona and its wildlife/geographic features, and he also provided us with a helpful guide to hikes based on difficulty. I recommend having a chat with him first on where you'd like to go as he's a seasoned hiker. The hotel also has other free activities from meditation to stargazing (which we unfortunately missed because it's on Sundays). The property is also conveniently near Marg’s Draw Trailhead, a K-Mart and nice restaurants (Mole, The Hudson) Also a shout out to Geoff, who answered my questions on Pink Jeep tours online even before we arrived. The hotel can help you book these or otherwise provide useful info. Overall, the staff were helpful and friendly, from the housekeepers to the reception staff. There was also a live performance each night by a local singer, and you could sit by the chairs with firepits. Made for a nice and memorable stay in Sedona.

I grew up visiting Oak Creek and Sedona every summer but this stay was my first time to stay in a hotel. We always camped in the OC Canyon. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy Sedona become some kind of religious mecca but one can still enjoy the gorgeous scenery, mild weather and NUMEROUS trails and areas to relax and hike.

We love art and food, so were really happy poking around in the old part of town. There are some great galleries and fun shops of several kinds. When we were much younger, would have availed ourselves of the hiking opportunities our family has told us about. The scenery is pretty spectacular

Absolutely awesome place - unique amazing natural red rock formations, with lovely trails to enjoy. We had some lovely meals in a variety of eateries and I would expect most people to find some menu that suited them as the choice is vast. Don't do what we did which is pick Thanksgiving as this made it rather busy. It really is a lovely mystical place.

This is such a beautiful town filled with great restaurants and shopping. The views are amazing, and you are so close to many things to do. We had a fabulous Grand Canyon tour. There was so much more to see and do including finding out that there are some good wineries right outside of town. We plan to go back!

Pretty.

Pretty. It's crowded on the main drag, but that's because people like it. Lots of bars/restaurants and much of it is walkable. Didn't see to much rowdiness. Great views. A tip - if Google maps tries to send you on a route that includes "Thompson Rd." good luck. We saw a Thompson Way at the locatiion indicated, but it had a gate. Google hallucination I guess, Anyway, enoyed it.

This is an amazing destination if you're into hiking. The Devil's Bridge is awesome as was the Boynton Canyon Trail. There are many more as well. We were told it can get crowded at times. We were there in mid-October and the crowds weren't a problem if you start out early.
