This was definitely a place for those in their 20s-30s.

This was definitely a place for those in their 20s-30s. Young people seem to have a much better handle on electronically looking things up and making their way to a certain destination. We were overall disappointed in the customer service. It seemed as though we were interrupting when asking for directions. We were not told of how many places were closed nor how to access others where we could get a simple meal. We plan to give this another try in late September 2025 only because we weren't really impressed with Basalt for a place to stay close to Maroon Bells. Although, Two Rivers Cafe had an amazing breakfast. Now that we have a better handle on things, we might enjoy it more next time. Zane's had an amazing burger!

It is a beautiful village and area to visit. We missed getting to see Maroon Bells because there weren't any reservations available. **Note that you need to make reservations to see Maroon Bells!! I didn't know that ahead of time. :-/

The word that sums my stay is TRANQUIL.

The word that sums my stay is TRANQUIL. This was a very enjoyable stay. I wasn't looking for a busy crowded area, so this was a good fit. I visited the second weekend of June before the busy season I'm told. Limelight hotel was very professional, clean, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. They welcomed families & pets and still maintained a high level of cleanliness. Those with their pets were very respectful of ones space. The room walls & ceiling were insulated well. The noise of others wasn't prevalent or obtrusive. I was recommended a trail and felt safe to walk alone. They have pool, spa, fire pits, ski lifts/gondolas & light shopping & restaurants. The staff provided a comfort that was beyond professional. You were not a stranger in the presence of the staff. The staff were people of all ages, and demographics. I felt very welcomed. I have been to high end hotels but Limelight rates above the posh because of their high level of kindness, comfort, and warmth. Getting to and from the airport, Anderson Ranch and nearby grocery store was no problem for the hotel staff to provide. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. I will definitely return.

Snowmass Village is lovely and right in the center of skiing. It's basically 2 shopping malls, but there are nice restaurants and shops and everyone is friendly. A nice feature is free S'mores every ski day at 3:30 pm.

There was a great choice of lodging and restaurants.

There was a great choice of lodging and restaurants. They also had many shops and a variety of snow sports shops for all your skiing, boarding, and other snow sports needs. The pedestrian gondolas provided free transportation from the base to the mall. There were many buses providing free transportation all over, including to more restaurants and the market a little outside the base village.

this ski resort is perfect!!! it's not as expensive as the rest of the resorts at the sorrounding area. free breakfast (buffet) is included, there are always bananas, and then each day they have something different (eggs, pancakes, french toast) plus corn flakes.. what i loved the most is that its right next to the slopes.. so when you have your skis, you can go straight from your room to the slopes and take the lift up the moutain.

Lounge and Sun deck were the best features of the hotel. Rooms are small and old but they were clean. Pictures online make rooms look much nicer than they really are. Price was steep. Food at restaurant on site was very expensive and so so quality.

Good kitchen amenities: spices, tea kettle, microwave cover. Loved ski in ski out. The unit was well furnished. Liked the outdoor hot tub. Unloading the car into the back door was very convenient.
