The location was great, the staff overall was very friendly. Initially, they gave a terrible room, very far on the outside corridor, terrible view, I let them know if there was something else, since I was going to be there a whole week, they instantly accommodated me to a better location/view. The room was bigger then expected and nice, clean and the bed was comfy. The walls a bit thin, I could hear the TV from the room next door. Their AC/Heater unit worked great. Shower was good, good water pressure. The staff at their little Bistro was super nice, the food was pricey but tasty. I ate there as few times.

Best staff ever! So helpful, flexible, considerate and devoted to giving the best service they can. The location was unmatched! Walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants, shops and beaches. Good shower, comfy bed, good a/c (cools well and not noisy). Best value for money in the entire area.

    Didn't get to see too much of Solana Beach as we had wedding...

    Didn't get to see too much of Solana Beach as we had wedding events but wish we could have visited more places in the area. We did find a delicious breakfast place a few minutes away that had gluten free and vegan options which were appreciated Close to the beach on 101 called Sunnyside.. Busy brunch and breakfast place which I highly recommend.

    The hotel was nice, needs to be updated some, but the staff was great, the breakfast was very good and well attended to. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were plenty roomy. The pool and hot tub area was a very nice addition. The beach was within walking distance and very pretty. Good location, close to the necessities. It was a little pricey, but what isn't nowadays. Overall, good choice for what we needed.

    Just a mid age, pretty much worn out hotel. We were there over new years - I understand prices are higher during high season but the price we had to pay was absolutely not related at all to the Hotel standard. Pool was not heated, no way to use it unless you wanted to catch a cold. Wifi connection didn't work at all - we were informed at the reception that they are working on it. Seems they are working on it for quite a while already.. Staff was really nice but this hotel is definitely not worth the money.d

    Nice relaxed and quiet area of California.

    Nice relaxed and quiet area of California. We walked to the beach which was lovely. Not really a touristy area (we were there to see family) - a few shops and restaurants. Easy (and not expensive) to get a train into San Diego, which we did. We also visited Balboa Park which was ok, but most of the attractions charge a high entrance fee. We ate tacos at Rubio's, very reasonable.

    This is a lovely hotel, nice an quiet and our room was the one shown in the pictures on booking.com! Pool area is lovely. The bar across the street is very stylish, classy without being stuffy. Is a short walk to the beach, although there are a lot of steps down to it!

    The location was great. We were upgraded by you and the hotel gave us some money off in the end as there was a lot of noisy refurbishment being done at the hotel and there was no access to the pool. However everything else was great and we will return.
