The staff were the friendliest people ever! The lady that does the breakfast in the morning was so fun and pleasant, I miss seeing her every morning! I had to stay here for quite a few nights while my dog was in ICU at the MSU vet school. The entire hotel was so extremely peaceful and quiet, the breakfast and coffee were great and the staff was the nicest hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure to be around. Love the old charm of this hotel too. I was able to work remotely from my room and it was great. The air conditioner super cold too! Loved that!

Lovely decorated room. Super comfortable beds and nice shower. The property is remote. Peaceful. The owners super accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay. The area is lovely also for some small hikes around the nearby park.

    When most people go out of town for the weekend, many would not think of Starkville, MS, but you should put it on your destination list. Mississippi State University is a beautiful campus. There are plenty of places to eat good food and great places to shop. I recommend that you put Starkville on your radar.

    My niece and I made a quick side trip to Starkville from New Orleans on the way to Birmingham, AL for Hozier. The main reason for the trip was to get BBQ at The Little Dooey--BEST BBQ ANYWHERE!! Make sure to save room for lemon or chocolate pie after dinner!

    Starkville is a small college town. I came for graduation.

    Starkville is a small college town. I came for graduation. The campus is beautiful and usually if you are coming to Starkville is is for college related events. They have a lot of restaurants. I recommend Harvey’s steak house, Walt-on’s sports bar and restaurant or The famous Bulldog Burger. They won’t disappoint. It is easy to get wherever you want to go.

    We were there for our son's graduation from MSU.

    We were there for our son's graduation from MSU. We ate at Umi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar in Columbus, MS for dinner. The hibachi was amazing, and our server was excellent! Highly recommend Umi...there is also a location in Starkville.

    We were there on a rainy day and still the town and Mississippi State were awesome. We’re already planning a vacation this summer. Also, my daughter loves the place, the people and the atmosphere. We’ll worth the trip and more in the future. The Montgomery B&B capped it all off as the best place to stay when you visit Starkville.
