Being a city off the beaten tourist track, Syracuse has great prices for lodging, tickets, super quiet to drive and park, use public transportation, walk in the mall, visit sights. When I left Syracuse, I went to New York City (NYC). It is the 3rd time I go to NYC, but this time I felt the huge difference! NYC is noisy, cars honk non-stop; people are in a hurry all the time; the traffic is chaotic; lodging, food, etc. everything is much more expensive! A beautiful comfortable colourful city with superbly homely,helpful and polite people...great to stay.I graduated from here. Large old industrial town.
Large old industrial town. Downtown area has great old buildings. Niagara Mohawk building is amazing. Talking Cursive Brewery is across the street.
