Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Trinidad Bay Bed and Breakfast Hotel offers accommodations on Trinidad Bay, 18 mi from Eureka. Free private parking is available on site. Two memorable days at the Tidepool Room. Our gracious hosts Tyler & Mike made our stay very special. We enjoyed a gourmet breakfast each morning overlooking the ocean bay. The air here is so clean and refreshing. We lounged in the adirondak chairs enjoying wine and great conversation. During the days we ventured to the beaches explored the town, and hiked up to the crest of the bluff. Very special time with my wife. Great to meet Mike & Tyler. Thank you for making this visit special for us. Come visit us in Portland OR.
Trinidad Inn has a garden and barbecue facilities in Trinidad. Free WiFi and a private bathroom equipped with a hair dryer are accessible to all guests, while some rooms also offer a DVD player. It was a very clean, comfortable room with comfortable beds. Quiet location. Right next to beautiful Trinidad Beach.
Less than a 5-minute drive from Agate Beach, this Trinidad, California hotel features cottages with free Wi-Fi, microwaves and compact fridges. I could stand on our deck and enjoy an expansive view of the ocean while listening to a colony of sea lions in the distance (you have to drive to Patrick's Point State Park to see them). After being on the go for several days, it was a welcome respite to have a cute, clean, and spacious cottage. The owner was incredibly helpful with recommendations for local trails and beaches. We were able to enjoy some extra-special experiences thanks to her advice. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, I didn't know it was part of the package. There are DVDs in the lobby, which we enjoyed after long days of hiking.
Located in Trinidad, Emerald Forest Cabins offers accommodations with a patio or a balcony, free WiFi and TV, as well as a garden and a terrace. The location was awesome. The people were so nice and they had what you needed. The kids had things to do. Laundry room was available. Wine tasting and jazz the evening we stayed. Beautiful rooms. Great views and quiet. Loved it.
It is a beautiful little town with an amazing beach and you can hike around up Nd around Trinidad head. The restaurant The Eatery was fantastic, it had homemade fudge and the fish and chips and chowder we sooo good. We went into the supermarket and it had everything you could need. I think Trinidad is a little gem for sure.
Trinidad is unlike most of the other spots near the ocean on the Redwood Coast. Long, gorgeous beaches easily accessible. Stunning roadside vistas. Unlike Orick and Klamath, it has charm, is clean, and offers lots of great dining options and wine tasting. If you are driving through the Redwoods, stop here, you won't be sorry!
Lovely place to stay in. You go to bed hearing the sea lions and wake up to them as well. Along with peaceful ocean sounds. Room was very clean. Bathroom was nice. Pillows we're flat and not soft that is my only complaint about this place other that it's really nice to stay in. If it wasn't for the horrible roads that even made me feel sick and I never experienced that in 30+ yrs I would go back and visit again.
Nice quaint town with an interesting history. a few very good restaurants in the area. Most need reservations during the high vacation season If you need a cheap meal go South 10 minutes to McKinleyville Bring layers for clothing - this is not a warm beach vacation area. Temperatures in July range from 50-70's. The redwoods in the parks were incredible, take your time to explore the area.
Trinidad California is a delightfully special little fishing village many Californians don't even know about. Beautiful, scenic trail walks and wild Northern California Beaches you'll never forget. Perfect place to visit Redwood National and State Parks from, and as a relaxing stopover from Oregon to San Francisco. Moonstone Grill has great food with views of Trinidad Bay, and Larrupin is another upscale but cozy restaurant about a mile north of Trinidad.
We only stayed one night but we had great drinks and dinner at Moonstone Grill followed by a walk on the beach near the marina. Beautiful sunset! Then next day we spent exploring Prairie Creek State Park walking among the Redwoods and along the ocean. If we had more time we would have loved a chartered fishing trip and a walk on Trinidad Head.

Very sweet and cosy cabins. Quite basic but at least they provided coffee and the basics which we didn't expect. The bed was comfy and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a bit like playing house in the garden as a kid. The surrounding forest is lovely and the cabins were positioned so that you weren't really overlooked. The little onsite shop was fine and had beer so all good. Quite expensive for what it was though but fun for a night.

Loved the location of this B & B in this quaint little fishing village. Breakfast was fresh and original and super delicious! Great views of the ocean, close to the beaches, and the marina if you wanted to do a chartered fishing trip. The state and national redwood parks are just a short drive away. Wished we had stayed more than one night. If we get another chance to visit Northern California again, we will be sure to stay here again!

This is a quiet comfortable affordable spot on the coast near the redwoods. it was exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend it to someone as a base for a few days visiting the North Coast of California. I would also stay there again.
