Spent Friday and Saturday hopping around all the bars and restaurants. Downtown is very walkable. Felt a little sketchy from time to time but had zero problems as security and police were very present to keep revelers in check. Didn't have a bad meal the whole trip with lots of kitchy bars. Great crowds, everyone respectful and fun. I recommend Thunder Bacon Burger Company, Juniper Gin Bar, The Hub, Hotel Congress, Penca and Snake and Barrel (downstairs speakeasy). The Owl Bar was a fun place to wrap up the evening.

Loved the road trip up Mount Lemmon!

Loved the road trip up Mount Lemmon! Summerhaven ia a cute little area at the top of Mt.Lemmon in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Lots of things to discover and check out. Oro Valley is also a great place to check out. I found the people here in Tucson to be the most helpful and friendly people. Great places to eat as well, with lots to pick from like Texas Roadhouse and Culvers

This was my very first time in Tucson.

This was my very first time in Tucson. I found the mountains to be breathtakingly beautiful and captivating. Downtown Tucson, is old, but quaint, with unique shops. I felt safe walking around at night with family and friends. Natives in Tucson are both friendly, and helpful. Tucson is chocked full of good places to eat. Authentic Mexican Cusine is every where. Guadalajara's Mexican Restaurant and Grill is a must dine, Catalina Foothills Mountains, is a must see scenic drive to the mountains. AJ's Market is the creme de la creme of whole food markets, and a must dine when going to the Catalina Foothills. I would love to visit Tucson again and will recommend to others.

    Affordable city.

Affordable city. Great hiking in the surrounding five mountain ranges. Two excellent national parks. Super dedicated bike paths - something like 130 miles without cars on asphalt surfaces. 23 miles of the best Mexican food in the U.S. Loved Sabino Canyon. Getting around by car is easy though the traffic is sometimes a bit heavy (nothing like Seattle) We are seniors who come for the hiking, Tucson Festival of Books, bike riding and reasonable places to eat

Tucson is a stop on our trip from San Antonio TX to San Diego CA. The weather during March was chilly and really windy but otherwise a great stop. There were plenty of choices for dinner and food and shopping were centralized. All and all a good stop.

Really nice renovation of an old school property. Like many of the repurposed retro hotel/motel projects, the Clifton seems to be redressing an imbalance in the hotel/motel landscape, offering affordable but basic accommodation in a thoughtful, well-maintained, clean and cared-for environment. Along with a great bar and comfortable outdoor space for night fires and gatherings, it is a good place to meet people (or not) and a walkable base for downtown.

The host is amazing, They bought so much grocery for me before my arrival I could stay 2 weeks there without shopping. The condo is very comfortable and I slept very well there. Close to shopping, city center, airport as weill as Pima Air museum. Probably one of the best bang for your buck you can get

A lovely complex with secure parking within easy walking distance of downtown Tucson. Very comfortable bed but I could have done with a small set of steps to get into it. 😂

There is nothing wrong with the hotel except for its downtown location in a not particularly salubrious location which features a lot of homeless people roving around.

Nothing! The management is very rude and their facilities is very motel like although they advertise as if they were a hotel.
