The waterfalls were stunning! Our only issue was that the girl at the front desk offered very little information, whilst the man checking in the people next to us gave them a whole lot of places to see, and especially a dinner spot. There are interesting sites nearby, hunting and fishing, rockhounding, day trip or base to explore the Sawtooths, Twin has a planetarium, some better restaurants. A great BASE jump bridge. We love visiting Twin Falls and have been going there for pleasure for over 30 years. Now we also go because my father is living in a Memory Care Facility there and as his agent, I am up there periodically conducting business on his behalf. Twin Falls is a nice little "city" in southern Idaho.
Twin Falls is a nice little "city" in southern Idaho. I love the bridge that you have to cross to get to it crossing the Snake River Gorge. Pretty impressive. Lots of people driving in for work and on vacation. It's a busy place. The highway heading north to Shoshone and eventually to Sun Valley was as busy as any other two lane highway I've seen. The Snake River Canyon is an amazing, truly stunning area. We took a boat tour & it was great. The people were friendly, lots of places to eat, shop, snack, and tons of things to go explore or do outside. Everywhere we went was well kept, no trash, or abandoned buildings.
