This trip was for specific business reasons in Wahiawa , so it was necessary to be as close to the place we were visiting as possible. As for being a place to visit when you are in Honolulu it is off the beaten trail.
This is an older military town with charm, lovely cool weather at times, but with seasons changing, I understand Wahiawa can be hot during the summer months. There are good places to eat, with the usual fast food places. Love driving from here to Haleiwa and beyond, this is a good town.
