This Westminster, Maryland hotel, located next to Cranberry Square Shopping Center, features an outdoor pool. Guest rooms at Days Inn Westminster offer cable TV with HBO and free Wi-Fi. Although an older hotel, it’s been updated, and it was very well-maintained. The concierge, Chuck, was extremely nice and polite, patient with my transaction, and helpful! Also, the complimentary continental breakfast what large, fresh, and tasty.
Featuring an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi, this pet-friendly Westminster hotel offers rooms with a flat-screen cable TV. Free coffee, tea and donuts are provided for guests each morning. Rooms are always clean, beds are very comfortable and the linens are always the best. It’s a pleasure staying here.
This Westminster, Maryland hotel is less than one mile from McDaniel College and its on-site golf course. It features a daily breakfast and rooms with free WiFi. Staff was very welcoming - to all of us, incl. our pet! Room was thoughtfully allocated - which is always appreciated when traveling with a pet - and large, clean and modern. Basics were all provided for. Breakfast was fine, even freshly made omelettes were on offer.
What a beautiful and historic town to travel to. To be able to park and walk around in the old town shops, enjoy the antiques, the local friendliness of the folks you come to meet, is quite an experience. Then you have all the modern advantages of the restaurant and malls, movie theatres, art museums and such. Lots to choose from! Lovely choice to take the family for a special little vacation to get away and see a piece of America we all should realize is part of the red white and blue!
We went to a Band at Stables Restaurant. It was excellent. The waiter we had was the best. Band was great and food was good Drinks were not over priced and everyone had fun. Gas prices here are really low.
Westminster has a nice historic downtown filled with local businesses. Main Street saw both the Union and Confederate armies as they marched to Gettysburg, PA. Being the county seat, Westminster is bustling hub. The scenery around Westminster can be breathtakenly beautiful. Best time to visit: Autumn.
There was nothing good about my experience at this hotel. There was no cold water in the room period. I could barely get a shower because the water was so hot. I let the water run for 35 minutes before I could barely get in the shower. I told management and they tell me that the water is working. I go back and find the same thing. I had to call them about the TV every night. There is a light in the room with no switch. We had to take the light bulb out. I was there working and was not pleased at all. I have stayed in crappy hotels before but this one was by far the worst.
I lived in Westminister for over 20 years; but moved away in 2016. I returned recently to visit friends & family. Some of my favorite dining spots are still there...O'Lourdens Irish Pub... make a great Irish Cosmo & food is always great. Sorry to see Harry's restaurant is gone. J & P Italian Restaurant always good food & big portions. Saved 1/2 my dinner for lunch the next day. It's a terrific spot to stay if you're wanting to go to Gettysburg... only 15 - 20 minutes away. Also very historic on its own & also Union Mills Homestead.
The motel is located on a major highway running through Westminster, It is a very busy route. I stayed at Boston Inn because it was right off the highway. I liked the value of staying there and it is not that far from Gettysburg, PA and is a nice drive through the countryside. The motel was great for sleeping. Once off the highway Westminster is a more peaceful place
