The facility was very clean and the beds were comfy. I also enjoyed the spa it was very relaxing. I also like to say thank u to Kim and her trainee at service desk. I forgot her name and I truly apologize. They made sure I was comfortable and satisfied. Great work lady's ! :)

Very modern and clean hotel. The room was large, the decorations looked elegant and modern. The beds were comfortable, even the bedding was smoother and more comfortable than what I have experienced at other hotels. The lobby looked very fancy and we were impressed by all the amenities that we unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy. The girl at the front desk in the morning was extremely nice. I think her name was Shirley or Sheryl. She had a smile on her face that was just what I needed when I checked out! The Hilton just has a different - higher - standard than other hotels. Very happy with this hotel and will be sure to book it again when we're in the area.

I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars. This was one of the nicest hotels and so far, an absolute favorite. I was very impressed. We'll definitely be coming back.

    It has been many years since I visited Wilkes-Barre... maybe 30... Though it was not the destination, my wife and I found a lovely Thai Thai restaurant. I found the local drivers to be a bit rude and unconscious, like they were in a much bigger city than it is. I would return for sure.

    Wilkes-Barre is close to White Haven where I have family.

    Wilkes-Barre is close to White Haven where I have family. My niece lives in White Haven. There is a lot to see in Wilkes-Barre, but I did not get a chance to see some of the sights in and around the town. But I will be up in Wilkes-Barre in the foreseeable future.

    Best thing was comfort of bed , however pillows very small. Hotel dirty and lacks electric outlets or lights near beds Pool green and hot tub not working. Breakfast very lacking 16 hrs here was about 12 hours to long!

    Wilkes Barre has a section 2 miles from the hotel where you can shop and eat. It's a large area devoted to those things. There are major highways close by so, it's easy to travel EWNS. Good location.

    Horrible experience...I will never stay here again.

    Horrible experience...I will never stay here again. Room with Mold, Pool over shocked. Hotel very outdated and smells musty everywhere!!! Disliked · Checked in later in the evening. Location of room was a very strong musty smell. Inside room was a strong musty smell. Had reservations for a evening out. Came back to room early in the morning (2:30 am). Still a musty smell and the air conditioning was not working, it kept turning on then out all morning. Woke up and realize on the ceiling was dark stains with the wallpaper peeling. Inspected a little closer and realize the entire area of the ceiling was full of mold. Took numerous pictures. Myself and girlfriends noses were stuffed up and congested. Contacted the front desk, who stated that the room was a safety hazard and unacceptable. Was given a different room. Front desk stated that a manager was not available and we would be contacted as soon as possible. It has been several days and still no contact by the Woodlands Management. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE...

    Not handicap accessible!!

    Not handicap accessible!! Hallways were narrow, barely made it inside the room the way they were located. Not enough room for handicap accessibility!! Could not eat at the site without carrying it all back to the room at other end of building. ( not handicap accessible). Good half block away with multi levels and multi sets of stairs. Pool room was dark ,dingy and scary to get too. Staff was not helpful. Could not enjoy any of the building. No vans to casino. Did not get rooms i booked on river with patio. Only plus - 2 casino games our parents could play because there was no van to take us to casino. - we drove a rv and had to park it off property. Will not recommend.

    The hotel didn't live up to its promises. There was no Wi-Fi, the ice machine was broken, and the vending machines weren't working either. Despite this, the location is incredible. The proximity to the stream, the interaction with nature, and the beautifully landscaped outdoor relaxation areas made up for any shortcomings.

    The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and there was plenty of restaurants/shopping in the area. Special recommendation for Thai Thai, a short walk from the hotel, and their amazing chicken satay. The portion was so large, it made a perfect meal for one.
