The mini-house itself was ok. It did have a kitchen but only 2 chairs when it was clear there would be 3 of us. Breakfast was decent….
Nature’s Dream w/ Deck + Yard + BBQ offers accommodations in Woodland Park, 16 miles from Garden of the Gods and 21 miles from Palmer Park. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a patio.
The town itself I okay. We really enjoy the annual wine festival, which keeps us coming back. However, I don't think we will stay in town ever again. This last experience at our hotel was very disappointing. We will probably just go to the festival and then return to our home.
I also know that the town government and school board is extremely reactionary in a right wing way. I don't want to support very much in a town that has such extreme political views.

It is close to Garden of God, cafe the wind, Manitou Dwelling, Red Rock spot, about a hour to amphitheater. But in Woodland Park hotel only one. Need more hotels. Dislike airbnb because the address is secret until you pay. Please build more hotel in there.

A great location in a small mountain town.
A great location in a small mountain town. Easy to go east or west around Pikes Peak. A short drive with exits to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, etc. around Colorado Springs as well as an equally short drive to the Florissant Fossil Beds, Wolf refuge, Cripple Creek and Victor and all they offer. A little further and you have Leadville another great tourist area. The town has an unusual number of restaurants, (mostly non-chain), as well as a Walmart and Safeway stores. Just a good place to stay away from the big city atmosphere.

There is no air-conditioning so it was warm during the day. The housekeeper showed us how to open the blinds and windows. The room was spacious and comfortable. We did not care for the futon as a couch. The bed was comfortable.

Very beautiful area that was quiet but close to all the attractions we went to. We really were focused on R&R. We were amazed with the scenery and beautiful views of Pikea Peak. It is a place we plan to come back to!!!

Expect heavy traffic since Hwy-24 is the main road with stoplights clogging the heavy highway traffic. Getting onto (24) is best if you use one of these traffic lights to do so and plan for right turns rather that left turns. The high level of traffic and inefficient movement of that traffic made us wish we had not planned to overnight here.
There does appear to be lots of camping opportunities north on Hwy-67 towards Deckers. The campgrounds are state, national, and private runned and all have lots of big tall pines.
