Featuring free bikes, a garden, and barbecue facilities, The Black Bear Lodge, Woodland Park provides accommodations in Woodland Park with free WiFi and city views. We couldn't have been happier/more pleased with our three day stay at the lodge. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back. The location was perfect, amenities were awesome.
Located in Woodland Park, Pikes Peak Paradise Bed and Breakfast is 30 minutes' from drive from Colorado Springs and offers views of Pikes Peak. Ron, the host was incredibly accommodating and a wonderful host. It was a very relaxing couple of days and stunning scenery.
Located on 4 acres of mountain terrain, Bristlecone Lodge is located in Woodland Park. A free continental breakfast is served to guests daily. Garden of Gods is 25 minutes’ drive from the lodge. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. Our dates were mixed up but she managed to find us a room. Our room at the lodge was decorated in a cabin theme and made us feel right at home. It was large with a kitchenette and sitting area. The outdoor area had trees and lots of places to sit in the small wooded area. There was a hot tub on site but we did not go in it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with homemade waffles! We would definitely return to this very special lodge.
Woodland Park is a beautiful little city near Colorado Springs. Stunning views and lots of activities in and around Woodland Park. You can visit Cave of the Winds, Pikes Peak, Lake Manitou and the Dinosaur Resource Center. Nice cool evenings as well.
Good centrally located whether you want to go to Colorado Springs or explore the surrounding mountains. Local stores and restaurants are enough for not having to travel all the way to Colorado Springs for something you need or a good place to eat.
I would not recommend Woodland Park if you are looking for a shopping experience. Great small town experience. Merchants have the small town attitude too. Stores were either not open or said they would open "10ish". This was on a Saturday and we were there at 10:10 am.
