The area where the hotel is is not walkable but there are a few decent places to eat minutes away..Not fancy but some good food in Yonkers and Riverdale. We have people in N Jersey and Hastings on Hudson. Neeme indian restaurant is best Indian I've had in years happy hour 5-7, Leibman's Deli a classic both in Riverdale. Taco Project 5 minutes from the hotel is not imoressive but the food is amazing and lovely service .Bella Rosa OG NYC pizza hero pasta . The Cross County Shopping Center outdoor mall is close by as well as access to public transportation via the Bee-line (Westchester) and NYC/MTA transit. Dinner at Marcelino’s in the hotel — excellent! Breakfast in the hotel — excellent! Central Plaza Diner — B, L or D — always delish/reasonably priced! Staff very friendly- The curtains were torn in spots-needs upgrade of wallpaper, carpets, drapes- lamp shades also torn in places- Housekeeping didn't attend room until end of day when we had returned to room and then asked us to leave the room-Need better communication on that.
