Clean, well situated - borderline empty during my stay so I got the roof top bar to myself every night, view was amazing. Felt like the private rooftop bar was just for me🤣. Rooms were functional and clean. The highlight was the staff! The bar stuff were lovely but the receptionist, linh was the star. He was outstanding, helped me get transfers, book tours, offered local food recommendations was overall a lovely person!! 10/10 for the staff.

Ha long is a beautiful place to spend your summer holiday as it is quite near from the capital city of Vietnam (Hanoi), approximately 2 hours drive on the high way. There are many different cuisines in town so that one can easily find their spot. Local people seem to be quite friendly and helpful as they are familiar with tourism which plays an important part in the economy of the province. Overall, it is indeed highly recommended to visit Ha Long and certainly you will be easily amazed with all the offer that this wonderful city brings to you and your loved ones respectively.

Ha Long Bay is beautiful, but we were there in shoulder season when you look in any direction and i counted 31 vessels.
The beach at Ti Top is beautiful and the climb is quite sobering, worryingly, it wasn't the busy season and you could barely move on the beach.
Much like Venice, perhaps they need to consider paying a tax/ premium to keep it pristine and not over crowded.
Really gutted they got rid of the alcoholic monkey from 20 years ago, guess they not PC these days.

Halong Bay was a magic place but sadly very dirty and it doesn’t seem cruise companies care about preserving it. We got to witness housekeeping from a boat throwing all the rubbish into the water, which was heartbreaking to see. I hope the local environmental authorities take measures around litterers.

Ha Long Bay is a wonderful and unique natural seascape.
Ha Long Bay is a wonderful and unique natural seascape. Unfortunately the sea is somewhat dirty due to the many excursion boats. The Lan Ha Bay route is much better: less crowded with boats, cleaner and just as wonderful as Ha Long.

Completely abandoned except for a few creepy men.
Completely abandoned except for a few creepy men. Do not stay here! We went to two different beaches and didn’t see a single person. We walked 20 minutes from our hotel into “town” and also saw no one.

Spent 3 days in Halong, main purpose was to do a 2 day 1 night Halong Bay cruise, which we did.
The weather is not the fault of Halong but hotel, where we stayed 3 nights, staff said that March, April, weather is overcast, a lot of wet fog, quite miserable, which is what we found.
Explored quite a bit of HL, nothing of interest, wouldn’t recommend it and couldn’t wait to leave.
Very friendly staff. Huy at the reception went out of his way to assist me with booking transportation back to Hanoi at the end of my stay. Thanks to the Hotel connections I was able to book a 6 hour tour through the bay for the day of my arrival, which was much cheaper than booking it through agencies before my trip to Vietnam and it was everything I hoped for. It is in a 10 mins walking distance to the beach. Nice (small) breakfast as well.
We loved so much staying at this hotel! Even though it is a hotel, you get to have cultural exchange since the sweetest family is running the place, they were amazing and super helpful! The interior design of the rooms is amazing, I loved the wall art and the Asian style 😊 Everything was super clean and tidy! I would recomend this place to anyone going to Ha Long Bay! Thank you!!!
The hotel was awesome and located in a great spot. We enjoyed the level of service most. A beautiful young lady named Hailey was a godsend - she assisted with everything (Travel, Excursions, Food, Currency). She contacted us via WhatsApp and would even stay on top of things whilst she was off-shift. She made our time in Ha Long Bay so much easier.
