Ideally located in the quickly developing city of Ha Long, The modern contemporary design along with the cleanliness of this place was phenomenal. The staff as in all of Vietnam were helpful, resourceful and professional, showing true far eastern hospitality and politeness. Breakfast menu was varied and suited many pallets. Beautiful sky bar next to the infinity pool in 25th floor was the icing on the cake. £45 a night lived like kings and queens

The hotel staff were unbelievably helpful and so welcoming. We arrived at 5 AM and they were so kind to check us in so early ! They helped us with getting multiple buses as well! There is a cute café for breakfast right underneath with great food and coffee! Located very close to the beach! Our stay was amazing.

    We planned to stay in Halong for 1 day, on our way to Cat Ba island and planned to stay another day on our way back to Hanoi. Due to rough seas after typhoon Kajiki, we stayed 2 days in Halong. The town is very quiet, many businesses and hotels are closed and it shows what happens to a once busy and thriving place, when the tourists no longer come in their previous numbers. Unfortunately, we will stay the extra day now in Hanoi on our way back.

    Our overnight stay in Paradise Suites was very pleasant and was just what we required for our cruise the next morning. The hotel was great and the staff very good. Would be happy to recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    Facilities on board were excellent and our room was great. Cruise manager Phuc and her staff were absolutely fantastic. The chef and his staff produced the most beautiful food. The presentation of all of the dishes was absolutely spectacular. It was a cruise to be remembered and recommended very highly to friends and family. Thank you Phuc and your lovely staff.     It is a big city with a lot to offer.

    It is a big city with a lot to offer. The draw card is the boat trip On the bay but the weather makes a huge impact on level of enjoyment. The day of our trip rained ALL day so the trip to the beach at the end was pointless whereas we would have liked more time kayaking as we were wet anyway. Chops and Hops had great food and drink, unfortunately the smoking at surrounding tables while we were eating was a hard no thank you. We used grabs to easily adventure around the city.

    The mountains are beautiful - but dirty.

    The mountains are beautiful - but dirty. The water was totally polluted and you could not swim in it . Every cruise ship empties their drainage and dirty water into the sea, every day for about a 100 ships. Really disappointing. There is no reason to go for more than one day, just to paddle and see the mountains. The cruise is very expensive and this tour is too inflated , overrated and over priced.

    We did a one day tour out of Hanoi, but decided to stay the night in Ha Long. I really do not recommend the one day tour on a boat. It was too crowded, one boat after the other, all going to the same places. We had to cue to enter a cave which is really not worth while visiting. My proposal would be to stay 2 days / 1 night on land, enjoy the scenery from the main land and enjoy the local life.

    The breakfast was good - big size portions and offered alternatives for vegetarians. You had an option of western or Vietnamese breakfast so everyone was catered for. Juice and english breakfast tea was a nice addition. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they helped us book our tours to Ha Long Bay and allowed us to have free late check out. The room service food was really nice and affordable prices. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are interested in visiting the bays as the hotel is not far from the port.

    Excellent service, big and clean rooms, good bathroom facilities and complimentary fruit in room. Incredibly helpful staff, organised a private tour for us at a good price, and they found a lost shirt in our room after checkout, contacted us and posted it to our next hotel free of charge. Rooftop pool was also amazing and fitting of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful view of Ha Long Bay from our room.

    The room was very clean, comfortable bed, spacious. You can't watch the usual Vietnamese TV but you can watch YouTube or log in to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc if you have an account. They sorted us out the Halong Bay boat tour easily with the bus coming to pick us up in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening, very smooth and fast. Very good value for money and a clean lobby area.

    Excellent stay in this beautiful hotel. Superb buffet breakfast, lot of choices of Asian and western cuisine. Our two bedroom apartment was luxurious with beautiful views of the Ha Long Bay. Facilities in the hotel were outstanding. Infinity pool on the 40th floor was breathtaking. Highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were very polite and welcoming.
