Beautifully decorated and very comfortable room. Amazing breakfast, with a lot of options. The hotel is very recent (less than 1 year old, for what we've been told). Friendly staff. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Citadel is 2km away, it's a very nice and easy walk from the hotel to there. There is a spa inside the hotel, but we didn't get to use it. Great value for money.

What a beautiful stay and sweet owners! We arrived really early after a night bus and she was too kind to give us an upgraded room and an early check in. One of the comfiest beds we had in Vietnam! MUST STAY while in Hue, next to the river, close to local food and hosted by a welcoming and genuine sweet family.

    Hue is not a city to be rushed.

    Hue is not a city to be rushed. It is a destination for souls seeking a slower pace of life, a space steeped in nostalgia and tranquility. To set foot in Hue is to step into a world layered with history and mossy charm. From the majestic Citadel and the solemn royal tombs hidden amidst nature, to the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda reflecting on the poetic Perfume River, everything exudes a deep, contemplative beauty. The atmosphere here is distinct—peaceful and gentle, yet tinged with the wistful air of a former imperial capital. The people and the rhythm of life are just as gentle and unhurried. And a chapter that cannot be missed is Hue's cuisine. It is the rich, spicy flavor of a morning bowl of Bún Bò, the delicate sophistication of various rice cakes like bánh bèo, bánh nậm, and bánh lọc, and the refined sweetness of its famous royal sweet soups.     The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to...

    The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to visit some of the tombs and a pagoda. Some of this can also be visited by boat. The main attraction is the Imperial City. The river is nice. Plenty of activity on the opposite side of the river from the Imperial City. The National Library of the Nguyen Dynasty was nice, stumbled on during a very long and random walk around the city.

    History. Very good food and variety of great places to eat. There were multiple local eateries with English menues and helpful staff, real and cheaper food. Good place to experience Vietnamese meals. A few high class restaurants nearby as well. Lovely walk along river at night with the lights. Hue is generally a very pleasant place with lots of history to see.

    Hue is a little city and is has most of what you need as a tourist and abundance of places to visit. Unfortunately we only had one day which I would have loved to extend to 4 days to grasp more of this Wonderfull place

    What a relief after the crazy, narrow streets of Sapa and...

    What a relief after the crazy, narrow streets of Sapa and Hanoi! In those places, even walking is stressful with all the cars and bikes packed together. Hue is so much more chill - wider roads, safer to walk around, and people aren’t rushing everywhere. The city’s built around this lovely river, and everything’s cheaper than in Hanoi. Want to come back and check out Bach Ma National Park when I have more time.

    The Jade is always a comfortable , clean, safe place and located conveniently . The staff are exceptional especially the receptionist. This is our third stay here and it never disappoints . Breakfast is simple and tasty enough . If you want buffet or 5 star breakfast go somewhere else . One other thing that sets this apart is how quiet this hotel is no one banging doors, moving furniture or yelling in the corridor ( well it wasn't the times we stayed) that's an added bonus when travelling . We will return when in Hue again .

    Owner and his family were lovely. He was good to deal with and very accommodating. Rented scooters through him and he suggested a tour bus to Hoi An that we thoroughly enjoyed. They also did our laundry for free which was very much appreciated. Very good location for Hue with everything in walking distance. Hotel is set on a charming little side street. Room was great, quite spacious for Vietnam and loved having a balcony overlooking the local area.

    I would say the most comfortable bed we have stayed in throughout traveling Vietnam!!! The room and ensuite were nicely decorated and for the money absolutely worth it and more! The staff were fantastic, really kind and helpful. I would fully recommend this hotel. We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed more if we were in Hue for longer.

    We only spent one night in this amazing hotel. It is an incredibly luxury hotel at a very valuable price. We wish, we could enjoy more the facilities of the hotel, the beautiful, comfortable, big room with stunning view over the city. An adress to keep in mind when coming back to Hué.
