Location was great, as was the breakfast with many international choices. Our room was huge, the shower was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. It was very peaceful with no traffic noise. It was more modern so the facilities were excellent. Bed was very comfortable. We did the DMZ tour from here which was awesome with the local guide - go see the tunnels - they will amaze you.

I recently stayed in the Level Premium Room with executive lounge access at Meliá Vinpearl Hue, and it was an incredible experience. This was my first time staying at a Meliá property, as they are not as widely distributed in most countries as Marriott, IHG, or Hilton. From the seamless check-in at the Club Lounge to the delightful cocktails during happy hour, everything exceeded my expectations. The concierge team was highly professional and attentive, and Nghĩa (if I remember the name correctly) stood out with his strength and efficiency, making luggage handling seem effortless. One highlight of my stay was tasting Hue’s famous lotus seed sweet soup (Chè Hạt Sen), which was truly delicious. It was impressive to receive such professional service in a city without international flights. Despite the rainy weather in Hue, staying in the tallest hotel in the city offered stunning views, which made up for the gloomy days. Another fantastic perk was the daily allowance of two complimentary laundry items, which added great convenience to my stay. Overall, Meliá Vinpearl Hue delivered an exceptional experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hue.

Absolutely brilliant service from all staff. Ruby in particular - she welcomed us with cold towels and fresh mango juice when we arrived. She sat down with us with a map and then clearly explained and wrote down our itinerary and costs for our 1.5 days there. The hotel had communicated really well - by email directly (then WhatsApp) - what we might like to do and arranged our trips and our driver for the airport. So professional. Lovely clean room and bathroom. I found the bed a bit hard on the first night so they added a mattress topper. Free tea, coffee and bananas were available all day. The location was good for local restaurants. Amazing breakfast £2.50 for as much as you wanted from their menu, served to your table (no scrum for a buffet!). Reception area gives a really good impression - nicely decorated and smiling reception staff. Oh and they asked me if I'd like to borrow a hat! Unbelievable service for such a good price, I don't know how they do it.

I stayed only one day and it was raining the whole day so my experience of Hue is biaised. But for any people interested in history visiting the imperial city is quite impressive and the tombs of Emperors are definitely a must see

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days.

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days. Restaurants and spas here are cheaper than HoChi Minh and Hoi An. The Imperial city and tombs are lovely. You can organise day trips to further afield. The Hai Van Pass between Hue and HoiAn s a must do, with scenic detours on the way.

Hue is not a city to be rushed. It is a destination for souls seeking a slower pace of life, a space steeped in nostalgia and tranquility. To set foot in Hue is to step into a world layered with history and mossy charm. From the majestic Citadel and the solemn royal tombs hidden amidst nature, to the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda reflecting on the poetic Perfume River, everything exudes a deep, contemplative beauty. The atmosphere here is distinct—peaceful and gentle, yet tinged with the wistful air of a former imperial capital. The people and the rhythm of life are just as gentle and unhurried. And a chapter that cannot be missed is Hue's cuisine. It is the rich, spicy flavor of a morning bowl of Bún Bò, the delicate sophistication of various rice cakes like bánh bèo, bánh nậm, and bánh lọc, and the refined sweetness of its famous royal sweet soups. The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to...

The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to visit some of the tombs and a pagoda. Some of this can also be visited by boat. The main attraction is the Imperial City. The river is nice. Plenty of activity on the opposite side of the river from the Imperial City. The National Library of the Nguyen Dynasty was nice, stumbled on during a very long and random walk around the city.

History. Very good food and variety of great places to eat. There were multiple local eateries with English menues and helpful staff, real and cheaper food. Good place to experience Vietnamese meals. A few high class restaurants nearby as well. Lovely walk along river at night with the lights. Hue is generally a very pleasant place with lots of history to see.

The Jade is always a comfortable , clean, safe place and located conveniently . The staff are exceptional especially the receptionist. This is our third stay here and it never disappoints . Breakfast is simple and tasty enough . If you want buffet or 5 star breakfast go somewhere else . One other thing that sets this apart is how quiet this hotel is no one banging doors, moving furniture or yelling in the corridor ( well it wasn't the times we stayed) that's an added bonus when travelling . We will return when in Hue again .

One of our favourite stays in Vietnam so far - the hotel seems higher than 3 stars. The rooms are beautiful with hand painted touches. Everything was comfortable, clean and spacious. Decent breakfast and great location for all the lovely local food in Hue. Staff helped with great recommendations and even walked us to our bus. Made everything so easy! Thank you 😊
