while the property is just a touch off the beaten path, that is what makes it shine! it’s a little oasis that you can enjoy incredible views, great food and a truly authentic experience. the rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff while not speaking English were some of the most helpful during my stay. My transportation to ninh binh got cancelled last minute and they were able to provide me with an alternative that was a great price! Everything was easily handled through google translate. I can’t recommend this homestay enough! Such a beautiful location.

Everything served is fresh, and we really enjoyed it along with the view. The coffee area, in particular, has a spectacular and picturesque view overlooking the rice fields. The weather is lovely and cool, making me feel like I'm immersed in an '80s movie.

Great location, beautiful view, lovely garden Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Thuy was a great host. Food was delicious and we got generous potion for the set and the hotpot. The decor of the room was very nice as well. I love the bamboo bed.

Its in the middle of a small village, no other tourist but us in the area, very beautiful The family that hosts us are the kindest and lovely, helping us with our every need They offer different activities We had a traditional dinner with them at their house (Thai family) And went on a trekk around the village (about 7-8 km) between the rice fields (viewings local workers and helping them for a bit) And an amazing lake (Ho Xam Tang) Every meal was cooked especially for us and tasted good (we had 3 meals a day at the homestay)

We really loved the stay at the Little Mai Chau, the breakfast was very good, rooms were comfy and clean. The owner was extremely helpful e.g. we got some recommendations of what to do and all of them were matching our preferences. To be honest, it was unforgettable experience, the owner surprised us many times with her personal attachement to every customer and us. The dinners cooked by the family are delicious and very generous (it costs extra 100k per person) but don't hesitate to ask for smaller portions! We also asked about some local specialties like bamboo sticky rice and they prepared them for us the same day for dinner. The homestay is located outside the city with a nice view to local rice fields. They rent motorbike for 150k per day.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Mai Châu, Mai Chau Home Holiday is a country house surrounded by views of the garden.

The accommodation is nice, but the hospitality from Hue and her family is incredible! She gave us great local tips and served wonderful meals with ingredients from her farm. She made us feel so at home and even went out of her way to help nurse me back to health when I got sick. Can’t wait to come back again (they’re renovating and even adding a pool!). The location is also beautiful, definitely recommend renting a motorbike and asking Hue share an itinerary for the day.
