Staff at this hotel was very attentive and answered all of the questions that we had. Helped us rent motorbike and there was plenty of parking out front. The pool was large and clean. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options and made certain items to order such as eggs and pho. Location is great as it's a few mins drive from down town.

There are no words to describe this magical place. Beyond the wonderful view, the cliffs that surround the hostel, there is a wonderful family full of love. Tuan and his family took care of everything for us! wonderfull meals every morning, a hot foot bath for our legs before going to bed... every time we returned from a trip, they waited for us with hot "Welcome back" tea... amazing experience! The hostel itself is stunning in its beauty, a beautiful pool, cute corners everywhere.. already missing..

The family that runs this hotel is the sweetest! And they have great customer service. Everything is brand new and working great, towels, hair dryer, bedding, everything was great. The breakfast selection was perfect, they had a mix of Vietnamese food and western, and had bun rieu one morning and pho the next. So great!! Near all the restaurants and town center and a really great pizza place across the street. I really recommend this hotel.

We just loved this place! There are only six spacious and cosy bungalows in the complex, allowing the hosts to pay a careful attention to each guest. They are really the sweetest and loveliest people, making you feel at home. We arrived early in the morning and we could leave our luggages there. They helped us plan our activities in Tam Coc and prepared a delicious breakfast for us 😊 In the evening, they even prepared a free foot bath and the next morning they gifted us snacks and water for our journey. They are just amazing. We only stayed one night but were treated so well - our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Hope to see you again in the future 😊

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

    The view is stunning.

    The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious

    Overall, the experience was very good.

    Overall, the experience was very good. Trang An and Mua Cave were absolutely must-visit places—stunning and unforgettable. If there’s one small note, I found that prices around Tam Coc were a little higher compared to Trang An, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the trip.

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National...

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National Park and I caught the end of the butterfly migration which was an exceptional, never to be forgotten experience. The nearest ATM to Wyndham Grand is only a 5 minute drive away but it is advisiable to bring cash to pay taxi drivers, shops and the National Park entrance fee. Taxis are easy to arrange and fairly reasonably priced. It is common to agree a price for a round trip and often the driver will wait for you, sometimes for several hours.

    Hoa Lu, the ancient capital is a great place to visit, pls book the tour guide who can help you to understand the place, pls spend time for walking around, even climd up the mountain to see the whole landscape. We did have a great time and we enjoyed it a lot. Thung Nham is another place worth visiting, especially at 5pm when all the birds are flying back home, it is fantastic view to see and enjoy Night market with long walk along the river is another great experiences. The food, the people and the landscape of Ninh Binh: wonderful!

    We absolutely loved our stay at ChezCao! The surroundings were beautiful, the staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was lovely. The location is great - easy to either bike/grab into Tam Coc / Walking Street / all Ninh Binh viewpoints. The hotel also offer free bikes and we loved cycling around the rice fields. The food was also very tasty. The hotel also has a spa and offers a sauna and massage. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere nice to stay in Ninh Binh.

    The hotel is at a perfect location to take a bike, motorbike or explore on foot the nearby gorgeous paths and small roads around Tam Coc. The landscape just down the road from the hotel is breathtaking, rain or shine. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area is very enjoyable and lush. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel was also very easy to get around to see other sights around Ninh Binh.

    The location of this hotel was fantastic. The hotel offers free bicycles, which helped us to get around town and visit cafes and nearby restaurants. The location is very scenic, and the hotel helped to arrange transportation to beautiful areas of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh.     It was our first time in Ninh Binh and we were very happy with this hotel. It’s located in a quiet area, about 2km from Tam Coc center, but you can easily get there by bicycle or motorbike with stunning rice field views along the way. The staff were friendly and always tried their best to help with anything we needed. We’ll definitely come back!
