We loved staying at this hotel! It was clean and just far enough away to be quiet/peaceful, but close enough to easily bike or walk to restaurants. Breakfast was also really good! While there are a lot of homestay options in this area we learned the hard way they were not ideal (thin walls, cold and dirty- at least the one we booked originally) so this hotel was so greatly appreciated after a bad prior experience.

Great accommodation surrounded by beautiful nature. It's fun to just take one of the free bicycles and ride around the area. :) They also rent scooters and provide laundry service although laundry is quite expensive with 65k/kilo. Food is also on the more expensive side. Staff is great though and make you feel welcome straight away. And they have cute dogs. 🐕😊

great location and staff was so friendly. And everything. Set up tours, we've got us bikes. made sure we were safe and we knew we were doing. Phuc was amazing. what a good guy. also the gardener/ everything guy was amazing too. forgot the waitress and the receptionist but they were both excellent

The location was beautiful, right amongst rice fields and the karsts and a short walk or cycle into town. Breakfast was delicious. We were offered help with organizing trips and had free use of bicycles. The pool was wonderful to cool down in after a busy day sightseeing. A wonderful stay.

THE BEST VIEWS IN ALL OF TOWN! Best stay of my whole trip! The views are even better than the photos. The hotel is super close to the main strip in town. The breakfast was so big and filling and the staff went above and beyond for us. Everything was incredible! We rented a scooter for cheap from them too! The room was so nice and clean with a fantastic view. Overall the best stay yet

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

    The view is stunning.

    The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious

    Overall, the experience was very good.

    Overall, the experience was very good. Trang An and Mua Cave were absolutely must-visit places—stunning and unforgettable. If there’s one small note, I found that prices around Tam Coc were a little higher compared to Trang An, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the trip.

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National...

    My visit to Ninh Binh was only to visit Cuc Phuong National Park and I caught the end of the butterfly migration which was an exceptional, never to be forgotten experience. The nearest ATM to Wyndham Grand is only a 5 minute drive away but it is advisiable to bring cash to pay taxi drivers, shops and the National Park entrance fee. Taxis are easy to arrange and fairly reasonably priced. It is common to agree a price for a round trip and often the driver will wait for you, sometimes for several hours.

    Hoa Lu, the ancient capital is a great place to visit, pls book the tour guide who can help you to understand the place, pls spend time for walking around, even climd up the mountain to see the whole landscape. We did have a great time and we enjoyed it a lot. Thung Nham is another place worth visiting, especially at 5pm when all the birds are flying back home, it is fantastic view to see and enjoy Night market with long walk along the river is another great experiences. The food, the people and the landscape of Ninh Binh: wonderful!

    The staff were friendly and very supportive when we needed help with a financial issue while we were traveling in Vietnam. The hotel was a bit further from the busier parts of Tam Coc but only 2 minutes walk from the Bich Dong Pagoda. There were some great local restaurants nearby as well as another boat tiar although we didn't take it. The breakfast had a nice selection and was tasty. We were allowed to check in a little early and use the bicycles while we waited to depart back to Hanoi.

    Stayed a total of 3 nights at the hotel. The hotel provided me with the bicycle to get our Tam Coc with ease. Very useful to head out to nearby for lunch and dinner. Though the streets were a little narrow, the limousine transport has no problem getting to the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and help to provide good information about the place to me. Will stay again the next time I'm in Ninh Binh.

    This homestay is very well located, within walking distance to the Mua Cave and a short bike ride from all other Ninh Binh areas (Tam Coc, Bird Valley Park (we really recommend this one!), Bich Dong pagoda, Trang An, Hoa Lu). It is run by a very nice family, although most of them don't speak much English. They rented bikes to us and we had dinner there on the first night.

    Amazing hotel, nice pool and great rooms, the bed is literally huge. It’s a short bike ride away from tam coc centre and they have bikes to rent for free. Great place to relax a bit while also seeing the sights of ninh binh. Friendly cat walks around on the property was nice to have some company!
