A nice place to visit , loads of history and culture in the surrounding area, bellpais monastry, st hillarion castle, well worth hiring a car or taking a trip to karpas or to some of the fantastic beaches across the north e.g. alagadi. escape, golden sands. I would recomment to go to Nicosia {Greek side of the island, from where you could take a bus to Limassol, Larnaka and Paphos}, Famagusta, Bellapais, Varosha {Ghost town}, and also visit Blue House in Tepebas. It is easy to get around Kyrenia, no need for expensive taxies, there are buses and dolmush that would take you anywhere for a reasonable price.Guest review byNatalya - 10.0
