Beautiful ocean view from the hotel. 3 minute walk to the beach to see all the windsurfers. Restaurants are within 2 minute proximity. Shrimps and steaks for less than 15 bucks right next door to the hotel. Definitely recommended.

We got upgraded to a wonderful apartment 209, its was really wonderful. This is a luxury apartment. It has wonderful uninterrupted view across the bay towards Table Mountain. The views of the sunsets were stunning. You can see the beach, waves and in the morning flocks of birds flew right over our balcony. The bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and showers were hot. There was sufficient lighting even during load shedding. All staff members were friendly, efficient and very very helpful We were just a couple but this apartment, can easily house 4 and more quite comfortably .There is a modern big kitchen two sleeping room a big balcony to sit or sunbath, it also had a splash pool which we did not due to the weather. There is air-condition in the rooms. The whole building is fenced and there is 24/7 security, so we were not worried about security in the apartment or for the car. There is laundry service that was very efficient and we could have also choose to use self-service. We did not use the gym, the swimming pools or the common bbq but all seemed quite nice.

I love Bloubergstrand.
I love Bloubergstrand. The view across Table Bay to Table Mountain is one of the best in the world. It is an active place, the promenade busy with people walking, running , pushing babies in 4x4 prams and cycling, but on the beach next to the promenade all is peaceful and quiet. There is always the glorious sight of the brightly coloured kites , and surfers etc, and there are plenty of good restaurants. And, if you need to get to the city centre it is not too far away.

Great place as a base because it's just a short drive into Cape town but an easy drive to the wine lands and cheaper than the waterfront if you are eating out every night Big bay just up the road and plenty of malls nearby

You get a different "view" of Cape Town out of the city. It gives opportunity for long beach walks and there are good restaurants in the area. Public transport is available. It is more affordable and value for money than in the city.

Bloubergstrand is a very popular coastal destination in Cape Town especially among surfers and kite surfers, great for morning and evening walks and beautiful sunsets. There are a lot of very good restaurants and bars, Primi Piatti definitely worth a try for good SA style Italian food, from there the wine routes are easily accessible as well as all tourist attractions. Just a warning that Cape Town traffic in the mornings and evenings is very busy so plan your trip accordingly.
