The location is perfect closer to a lot of facilities like East Rand Mall which is so enormous and has a variety of stores from food stores to pharmaceuticals like dischem and clicks. Area has deteriorated hugely in just the last 3 years since my last visit. It has become one glorified squatter camp with filth everywhere, few robots working, lines on roads barely visible and people living and working on the pavements. Old indoor people that was a great feature in old SA now looking like a dump. whole road from Benoni to Brakpan filled with shacks forcing you to drive off the road through shacks to get to Brakpan. im not satisfied once more .yesterday i called the management of stay in kodge who said she is in cape town.my reason for calling was that i booked a roon for a couple.i then paid for a night R350 .then after having left i decided to extend their term of stay of which i did with booking .com and i indicated in my booking that it is for the same people. The following day when the visitors have to use the room as amended they were first chased out without first checking their systerm.and when i call the management iwas told that there is no booking then i forwaded the proof to the management. I even requested a respond with explanation and there were no respond. i found that my quests were given accomodation.nothing was communicated as to whether they found payments or none.then today the 9th october 2024 late again my quests were denied to enter the premises they were told im owing R200. i feel this is an unfair and unprophesional customer service.i think i should have been called and explained of the outstanding R200 and further clarity as to what courses the R200 addition meanwhile online i paid to date.i think the lodge should have communicated with me immidiately they get the booking from booking.com but the practise which they applied is not good ,i refered many people to this lodge even now there are many who was refered by me. but well this lesson have opened my eyes. hoping they will improve if they respect thir customers. its fine i rest my case here and the additional payment demanded without explanation is made. from Mzamani L Maluleke 0799041999Guest review byLethasSouth Africa - 10.0
