Very intimately remote, few cabins so small amount of guests. Jeremiah was a gem and packed us lunches for our hike and our drive the next morning. The hikes are breathtaking. Dinners were romantic, cozy, and delicious!

The Montusi Mountain Lodge is really beautiful. The lodge is beautifully located and elegantly designed. We enjoyed the scenic view so much. The bungalows are well maintained. It was really cozy in there. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast & dinner was the best we have had in ZA so far. We wish, we could have stayed longer!

This was a very comfortable and scenic lodge, close to good walking in the Drakensberg mountains (ask the staff for recommendations). I'd recommend asking them to cook you dinner, as it was affordable, convenient and tasty. We used their well equipped and large kitchen to make our own breakfast. Excellent value.

The meals were varied and freshly prepared, with a great view no matter where in the main lodge you were seated while eating. The atmosphere throughout the entire camps was also extremely peaceful, which encourages you to immediately relax almost upon arrival. The entire team who run the lodge are also extremely friendly, and always willing to got the extra mile to cater to your requests.
