The room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great with a huge shower and tub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Cooperleigh. It was exactly what we needed for a family weekend catch up. We live abroad and came back to South Africa for some travels and to meet up with family and wanted to do an early family Christmas dinner and Ashleigh even arranged for a Christmas tree and lights for us which was so lovely and unexpected. The house was very clean with all the cooking and cleaning utensils you could need. Anything else we needed Ashleigh was just a message away and happy to help. He kept us informed about the loadshedding schedule and helped with back up power if we needed it. The views are lovely and the walks in the area are beautiful. Inhlazane mountain is nearby as well and was a fantastic little hike. The midlands meander is not far and it's easy to explore the cute cafes and galleries in the area. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful cottage. Warm, clean and cosy. Cute dogs on the property. Host & owners were friendly and accommodating. Milk, ice, firelighters, wood, coffee, tea, biscuits and toiletries were all provided - this was a very generous gesture. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. I would most definitely book again. We loved everything about our stay

Everything was ready when we arrived, the hosts (Tom & Lucinda) were wonderful and accommodating. Wood was provided for the fireplace. Stand-by lights and a gas cooker was provided for when there was load shedding/blackouts. We had an afternoon walk with Tom & Lucinda to see if their cows had calves, spent about 2 hours in the field chatting and getting to know about the history of the farm. The views over the Dargle valley are spectacular.

I liked that the area is country. What you see in the pictures is more beautiful in reality. Jo and Jeannet are simply the best, they made our stay memorable, my boys have fallen in love with Jo and Jeannet. We will definetly be back again. Our stay was perfect.

Everything that you need for a perfect weekend getaway. The tent is more spacious than expected, with a well equipped kitchen and two sizeable rooms. The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

    The room was clean pool was green and dirty breakfast was good but the staff ignored me at dinner only attended to white people I stayed for 30 min until I left 🚮Shout out to the guy at the office helped me with printing a document. I was in room 1 and there is no network and no wifi

    If you want to get away from life’s hustle and bustle for a few days , and enjoy tranquility, fantastic scenery , luxury accommodation, set within the backdrop of nature . This is the place for you . The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, and the rabbit and guinea pigs are so cute .

    The views and accommodation was great,but the roads are terrible they 3kms gravel it was more like 20kms of gravel road which was covered with rocks it really was not a pleasant drive it should be attended to asap and let us know way in advance
