Situated a scenic 90-minute drive from Cape Town, this renovated lodge is set in lush gardens with fruit trees, vines and roses. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. Beautiful views, quiet, spotlessly clean. The hosts were unbelievable. I highly recommend staying here. Trust me!!
Located in the town of Greyton, Ella's is set within 900 metres of the Boesmanskloof Hiking Trail and Greyton Nature Reserve. The room was spacious with a contemporary African feel. The bed was a great size with beautiful, luxurious feeling, bedding. There was a well equipped kitchenette and 2 comfortable arm chairs. Charming outside space with your own table and chairs. The good sized swimming pool was lovely to use after a hike in the local hills. Lisa was a super host - nothing was too much trouble and she gave us good advice about where to eat and recommended a route to our next destination.
Boasting a swimming pool, a shared lounge and a garden and views of the mountain, Heritage B&B Greyton is situated in Greyton and features accommodation with free WiFi. Located away from the bustle of the main town, Heritage B&B is a tranquil space where you feel you can kick your shoes off and relax. The amazing hosts welcomed us into their home and made us feel very much a part of the family. We were given great suggestions of places to visit (Hemel en Aarde Valley!) and trails in the area or our decision to snuggle up with Basset hounds Bassie and Dharma next to the fireplace on a winter’s day.

Loved the space - we were worn out after a long mountain-bike ride. The space was warm and the electric blanket on the bed was a nice surprise. Will recommend and hope to stay again next year. This was my first time at Greyton and OMW! I just luv the place. If I win the Jackpot I will definitely Retire there!!! Luv everything about the place. The Restaurants, the people, the atmosphere.....everything. Will definitely return.
A very quaint and picturesque town. This visit was very short and we brought our own vehicle and we chose to walk around the town on foot. Abbey Rose for sunday lunch was superb. Wonderful tender lamb and well cooked veg . Extremely friendly staff. Always a pleasure to go there . Indeed it is the one place we always go for a meal. The Post House has a wonderful olde world pub warmed by and open fire. We loved it . The hosts are ever so friendly and delightful.
Lovely places to eat drink and relax, though reasonably priced we found the service to be very slow at most of the eating venues. We visited a few, friendly but slow.Fortunately we were not in a hurry. Good weekend breakaway, lots to keep you busy.
The Saturday morning is a must. I loved walking down the main road, popping into all the tiny shops along the way and coming in to contact with the lovely people. We were spoiled with many choices for where to have supper, and we decided to check out 1854 who had lovely live music and the most awesome ribs, and great ambience.
The Saturday morning market, although very small, is worth a visit. We bought excellent cheese, mini quiches, jaffles and coffee there. There is an absolutely wonderful vintage shop in the Main Rd called Ribbons & Roses, where we spent quite a while browsing the amazing array of things! A must see when in Greyton! Oak & Vigne Restaurant provides excellent food and a happy vibe.
There are lovely walks around Greyton and quaint shops to browse in. The nursery and coffee shop served the most delicious pizzas. The only disappointment was the lack of service in the restaurants. The food was hit and miss in the few restaurants we tried, but in general the service is mediocre.

The hosts, Beulah and Doug, were hospitable and friendly. The studio is absolutely every piece of what you need. Greyton is also a hidden gem, really beautiful and different from the usual metropolitan getaways. Oak and Vigne was great for dinner, and Via's SUPERB for breakfast.

The owner Andrew was very lovely and the rooms were perfectly comfortable. Andrew gave us plenty of information about the area and wonderful recommendations. Breakfast was just delicious. Such a huge variety of plants in the garden centre too. A definite favorite in Greyton.

Adinda is a truly heart-warming host. We had nice conversations with her. The cottage is cosy, nicely decorated and comfortable. Adinda supplied us with biscuits, jam, milk, homemade carrotcake and bread for breakfast, which we had on the lovely roof-terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, All in all a very sympathetic stay.
